The present work is an excerpt from a research that is currently underway at PPGL of Universidade Regional do Cariri. We have developed a special interest in the decisions rendered by the STF's Ministers, as this is the summit organ of the judiciary. In view of the importance of this institution, and of its decisions within the Brazilian legal system, we are interested in plenary sessions with issues of repercussion and which presented a balanced vote with regard to the number of votes against and in favor. We note that some of these sessions do not proceed with the courtesy expected of Ministers of the highest court in the judiciary. A exclusão de mulheres do espaço político é apenas uma das diferentes formas de manifestação desse patriarcado. O processo de impeachment da ex-presidente Dilma Rousseff, como um gênero discursivo produzido pela atividade jurídica, não está alheio às condições extraverbais de sua produção. Nesse estudo, utilizamos a perspectiva teórico-metodológica de análise dos gêneros discursivos desenvolvida por Bakhtin e o Círculo, além dos estudiosos contemporâneos de suas obras, para analisar o libelo acusatório do processo de impeachment percebendo as manifestações do patriarcado e como elas se servem do estilo, da construção composicional e do conteúdo temático desse gênero para legitimar sua ideologia de subordinação e dominação.
