Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peningkatan keterampilan proses dan motivasi belajar siswa pada kelas IV SD Negeri 24 Ganting Singgalang dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Inkuiri. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek uji coba adalah peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 24 Ganting Singgalang sebanyak 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada siklus 1 keterampilan proses sains siswa 73% meningkatkan pada siklus 2 menjadi 85% dan motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus 1 53% meningkat pada siklus 2 dengan menjadi 85%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi inkuiri di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan motivasi belajar siswa. Jadi, strategi inkuiri dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN 24 Ganting Singgalang.
This study aimed to describe effecitivity of the learning outcome IPA using inquiry method. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Research procedures conducted through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. Subjects were teachers and students of fourth class in elementary school 08 Padang City. Data was obtained from the results of observations and test results of learning. The research was conducted by two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of the research that has been conducted every cycle seen an increasein the average value of student learning outcomes are: (a) the cognitive aspects of 75 to 93, (b) the affective aspects of 74 to 95, and (c) psychomotor aspects from 76 to 94. It can be concluded that the CAR using the inquiry method can improve learning outcomes of science fourth grade students of fourth class in the state elementary school 08 Padang City.Key words: Learning competency; science learning; inquiry method
Hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu, masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini terjadi karena peserta didik kurang berani dalam menyampaikan pendapat bahkan terkadang peserta didik kurang bisa menerima pendapat dari siswa lainnya serta siswa kurang terdorong untuk melakukan eksperimen yang menumbuhkan aktivitas belajar. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan penerapan Project based learning (PjBL) pada proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran PjBL dengan aktivitas Belajar serta hasil Belajar Siswa di Kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini adalah adalah quasi experiment dengan dengan rancangan penelitian Randomized control group only design. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran Model PjBL terhadap hasil belajar di kelas IV
The purpose of this study is to find out the critical thinking skills indicators and aspects of prospective elementary school teachers in mathematics-science integration lectures on electrical circuits and mathematical logic lesson. This research uses random sampling technique in which 30 first semester students were chosen randomly from one of university in Padang region West Sumatera Indonesia. This research uses Research and Development (R & D). The critical thinking skills are seen from processes, observations, and tests. The process of critical thinking skills of prospective elementary school teachers on the average of critical thinking skills indicator is 84% in strategies and tactics, 80% in advanced clarification and 83% in elementary clarification, basic support, and inference. The result of observing the critical thinking skills of prospective elementary school teachers on the average of each lectures is significantly increased to be 81.9%. The results of pre-test and post-test were increased significantly. It is shown from N-gain of 0.7 to be medium category.
The objectives in this study are 1) to find out the implementation of pedagogical competence of teachers in thematic learning in SD Negeri 06 Kampung Lapai, 2) to find out the obstacles or problems experienced by teachers in implementing the pedagogical competence of teachers in thematic learning at SD Negeri 06 Kampung Lapai, 3) to find solutions to overcome obstacles in implementing teacher pedagogical competence in thematic learning at SD Negeri 06 Kampung Lapai. The method in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and also documentation. The results of the study that can be concluded are the implementation of teacher pedagogical competencies in thematic learning at SD Negeri 06 Kampung Lapai is already good, although there are some obstacles in applying it such as different teacher education backgrounds, weak methods and the use of instructional media. The efforts to overcome the problems that occur are by conducting functional training and teacher competence in the beginning of the new school year, and motivating teachers so that teachers can improve the learning process process for the better.Keywords: Implementation, Pedagogical competence,thematic learning.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh Hasil Belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Educations dan Motivasi siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode Konvensional pada pembelajaran Matematika di kelas V SDN 11 Kampung Jawa Kota Solok.Jenis penelitian adalah quasy eksperiment. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan jumlah 48 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purpose sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan tes kemampuan awal dan tes kemampuan akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Educations memiliki motivasi yang lebih baik daripada hasil belajar dengan motivasi belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode Konvensional dengan thitung sebesar 1,984 lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 4,72 dengan taraf nyata α = 0,05. Hasil penghitungan pada tabel dengan menggunakan uji F diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 4,258. Sedangkan Ftabel yang diperoleh adalah 4,11. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat terdapat perbedaan motivasi siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Educations dengan motivasi siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode konvensional pada pembelajaran matematika di Kelas V SD Negeri 11 Kampung Jawa Kota Solok.
The results of the preliminary survey indicate that there are still many students who have not been able to solve the problem, the learning is still teacher-centered. For this reason, problem based and project based learning is implemented. The research aims to determine the differences of the student learning outcomes using Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) models in terms of self efficacy. The design of the research was quasi-experiment with 2×2 factorial design. The population is fifth-grade students of Elementary School (SD Kartika 1-11) in Padang, Indonesia. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument was a learning outcome test and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The results showed that: (1) the learning outcomes of students using the PjBL model were higher than the PBL model, (2) the learning outcomes of students who had high self-efficacy were better than low self-efficacy, (3) there is no interaction between learning models with self-efficacy on student learning outcomes.
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah dalam pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar yang berdampak terhadap kualitas pendidikan di sekolah terssebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran tematik berbantukan permainan edukatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tematik berbantukan permainan edukatif dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Terlihat bahwa pada motivasi siswa mengalami peningkatan dari rata- rata 81,5% sampai ke 91%, begitu juga pada hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami peningkatan persentase ketuntasan materi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia 60% sampai ke 90%, IPA 50% sampai ke 90% dan IPS 60% sampai ke 95%.
