This paper measured the dielectric properties of the kraft paper and three polymer materials before and after electro-thermal aging, the examined dielectric parameters are ac electric breakdown strength, dielectric constant and dissipation factor. Preliminary results show that under the same aging time, as the aging temperature rises, the dielectric strengths of kraft paper, PPS, PC and PET are not always lower; and under the same aging temperature, as the aging time rises, the dielectric strengths of kraft paper, PPS, PC and PET are not always lower; For kraft paper and polymer materials under different aging time and temperature, the dielectric constant and dissipation factor of kraft paper is much larger than the other three polymer materials under different temperatures and frequency.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
