A visible-light-induced and photoredox-catalyzed intermolecular pyridylation/phosphinoylation of alkenes using 4-cyanopyridine and diphenylphosphine oxide under mild metal-free conditions has been reported.
Ni 0 -catalyzed chemo-and enantioselective [3+ +2] cycloaddition of cyclopropenones and a,b-unsaturated ketones/imines is described. This reaction integrates CÀC bond cleavage of cyclopropenones and enantioselective functionalization by carbonyl/imine group,o ffering am ild approach to g-alkenyl butenolides and lactams in excellent enantioselectivity (88-98 %ee) through intermolecular CÀC activation.Supportinginformation and the ORCID identification number(s) for the author(s) of this article can be found under: https://doi.
An
efficient synthesis of benzo[a]carbazoles via
visible-light-induced tandem oxidation/[3 + 2] cycloaddition/oxidative
aromatization reactions was reported. The benzylic C(sp3)–H of tetrahydronaphthalene was activated through visible-light
photoredox catalyst with oxygen as the clean oxidant under mild reaction
conditions. This protocol proceeds efficiently with broad substrate
scope, and the mechanism study was performed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
