Background: The prognostic value of the Ki67 expression level is yet unclear in breast cancer. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between Ki67 expression levels and prognostic factors such as grade, Her2 and hormone receptor expression status in breast cancers. Materials and Methods: Clinical and pathological features of the patients with breast cancer were retreived from the hospital records. Results: In this study, 163 patients with breast cancer were analyzed, with a mean age of 53.4±12.2 years. Median Ki67 positivity was 20% and Ki67-high tumors were significantly associated with high grade (p<0.001), lymphovascular invasion (p=0.001), estrogen receptor (ER) negativity (p=0.035), Her2 positivity (p=0.001), advanced stage (p<0.001) and lymph node positivity (p<0.003) . Lower Ki67 levels were significantly associated with longer median relapse-free and overall survival compared to those of higher Ki67 levels. Conclusions: High Ki67 expression is associated with ER negativity, Her2 positivity, higher grade and axillary lymph node involvement in breast cancers. The level of Ki67 expression is a prognostic factor predicting relapse-free and overall survival in breast cancer patients.

This study aimed to examine the effects of 12-week plyometric, elastic resistance and core strength training applied to badminton athletes on some basic motoric properties. For this purpose, 21 badminton players participated equally and randomly in plyometric (PG), elastic resistance elastic (EG) and core strength (CG) training groups. Each training group participated in the experimental training practice as well as badminton training three days a week for 12 weeks. One day before and after the 12-week period, vertical jump, agility, throwing a weighted ball, sit and lie down, hand grip, push-ups, back strength, standing long jump, 10m-50m speed, reaction tests as motoric features; with the clear, drop and smash tests as badminton basic technical skills were measured. The obtained data were analyzed with paired samples t-test for within-group analysis, one-way ANOVA and LSD post-hoc test for between-group analysis. Values were presented as mean, and standard deviation, and were analyzed at a significance level of 0.05. According to the data obtained in the study, there was a significant difference in favor of the posttests in the results of the vertical jump, agility t-test, hand grip strength test, standing long jump test and badminton drop technique test among the pre-post tests in the PG group (p&lt;0.05); in the CG group, there was a significant difference in the results of the push-up test, back strength test, badminton clear technique test and badminton drop technique test in favor of the posttests (p&lt;0.05); in the EG group, there was a significant difference in favor of the posttests in the results of the vertical jump, sit-reach flexibility test, push-up test, badminton clear technique test and badminton drop technique test (p&lt;0.05). Among the groups, between the PG group and the EG and CG groups, in favor of the PG group; it was determined that there was a significant difference in back strength between the CG group and the EG and PG groups in favor of the CG group (p&lt;0.05). As a result, plyometric training has positive effects on lower extremity strength and explosive power properties, core training has positive effects on trunk strength and elastic resistance band training has positive effects on both lower and upper extremity strength and explosive power properties; it can be said that these exercises applied at the same time can positively affect the basic techniques of badminton.<p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0205/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>

Conclusions: High Ki67 expression was associated with ER-, Her2 (+), higher grade and LNI in BC. The level of Ki67 expression was a prognostic factor predicting the RFS and OS in BC pts. A493 introduced for the treatment of HIV (25%) and asthma/ COPD (25%), type-2 diabetes mellitus (19%) and HCV (13%) as well as for the treatment of essential hypertension (6%), eye disease (6%) and stomach cancer (6%). Most of these products could be grouped into Category A (new substance plus generic substance) and Category E (already G-BA-assessed substance plus generic substance) (both N= 5). There was no product in Category F (two or more already G-BA-assessed substances). It was evident that the G-BA decision was different among the categories of the FDC. ConClusions: New FDC are not common in the EBA. There is a tendency in which indication FDC products are more common. The type of combination, i.e. combination with or without generic substance, as well as the existence of a specific level of evidence, i.e. direct comparator study vs. bioavailability study only, were key drivers for a successful early benefit process.
