In order to reuse TV white space (TVWS) efficiently, a novel time-spectrumspace three dimensions radio environment map (REM) technology is proposed in this paper. Field measurements are carried out in BUPT campus for both outdoor and indoor scenarios. Measurement results are used to construct the REM by considering the altitude parameter which is omitted in existing research works. In order to utilize TVWS efficiently, the outdoor white space usage system is proposed to improve the accuracy of measurements. Furthermore, the optimal outdoor sensor deployment scheme using channel-location clustering algorithm is designed to construct the REM efficiently with the minimum sensor nodes. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of proposed schemes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
