Through wireless devices and wireless applications, M-learning supports an integrated access to Web content and services in education anytime and anywhere. This paper describes the analysis, design, and implementation of "Wireless Questions-Bank System", that allows the students to take web-based quizzes, web-based free exercises, web-based exams (midterm, and final), to download course reviews, to download previous exams and their model answers, to access the system through the Mobile and take quick quizzes and exercises. The system facilitates generation of automatic, balanced, and different exam sheets, that containing different types of questions, covering the entire curriculum, and displaying gradually from easiness to difficulty. The exam sheet produced by the system, takes into account the different levels of the students from excellent, good, to fair, and avoids any mistakes of language and non-clear terminologie
Abstract-Shadow detection is the most important aspect in the field of image processing. It has become essential to develop such algorithms that are capable of processing the images with the maximum efficiency. Therefore, the research has aimed to propose an algorithm that effectively processes the image on the basis of shadow reduction. An algorithm has been proposed, which was based on RGB (red, green, and blue) and HIS (hue, saturation and intensity) model. Steps for Shadow detection have been defined. Median filter and colour saturation have been widely used to process the outcomes. Algorithm has proved efficient for the detection of shadow from the images. It was found efficient when compared with two previously developed algorithms. 87% efficiency has been observed, implementing the proposed algorithm as compared to the algorithms implemented previously by other researchers. The study proved to make a supportive effort in the development of optimized algorithm. It has been suggested that the market requires such practices that can be used to improve the working conditions of the image processing paradigm.
Abstract-Medical image processing is one of the most demanding domains of the computing sciences. The importance of the domain is in terms of the CPU and the memory requirements that shall be used by the system to compute the result. Moreover, the volume of the data is often very large in terms of the space and primarily requires many processing tools. At the same time, the tools have to be available as the real time applications, in order to be used by the physicians On the other hand; computational complexity is also another significant issue in the processing of the data. Therefore, the development of advanced and optimized algorithms is now sought as the way to improvise the effectiveness of the processing and development capability of the image processing systems. Thus, distance map (DT) has emerged as one of the most influential types of algorithms to enhance the computational capacity of the unit and further produce better results for the actual outcome of the system. The results of the output have been in high favour of the distance map algorithm. Moreover, the output has witnessed an increasing trend in the performance of the system and has been quite prominent in terms of acquiring the resources. The results of the conclusion has concluded the fact that, the application of the distance map algorithms has resulted in the reliable alternative that can be applied in the field to improvise the running norms and further speed up the existing procedures.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
