Garella musculana (Erschov, 1874) is an important walnut pest originating in Central Asia. It was found in 2008 in Ukraine, and more recently in Turkey and Bulgaria. The Asian walnut moth was observed in Romania during studies conducted in Albesti and Arsa province between 2018 and 2020. G. musculana was observed on both saplings and 50-year-old walnut (Juglans regia) trees in Romania.This paper presents the first record for Romania.
Ülkemizde ilk kez 2014 yılında Yalova'da tespit edilen Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae) geçen süre zarfında kestane alanlarında yayılmaya devam etmiştir. Kestanenin en önemli zararlısı konumuna gelen Gal arısı ile mücadele çalışmaları devam etmekle birlikte zamanla diğer illerimizden de zararlının görüldüğüne dair tespitler bulunmaktadır. En son olarak ise Zonguldak ve Bartın illerinde yapılan arazi surveylerinde zararlının galleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu illerimizde şu an için sınırlı yayılışı bilinen zararlı ile bir an önce mücadele çalışmalarına başlanmalıdır.

yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada daha önce Bartın'da kavak ağaçlarında (Populus spp.) tespit edilen zararlı böcek türleri ile ilgili bulgulara yeni katkılar sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmamızda 4 takıma mensup 5 familyadan 7 tür tespit edilmiş olup, tespit edilen 7 türün (Saperda populnea, Melonophila picta, Amphipyra berbera, Scoliopteryx libatrix, Pristiphora conjugata, Lygaeonematus compressicornis, Mordwilkoja vagabunda) tamamı Bartın için yeni kayıtlar niteliğindedir. The New Contributions to Poplar Pests of Bartın AbstractThe study was conducted in Bartın between 2009 and 2011. This study contributes to the data on poplar tree pest species in Bartın In the study a total of 7 species belonging to 5 families of 4 orders were identified. All the determined 7 species Saperda populnea, Melonophila picta, Amphipyra berbera, Scoliopteryx libatrix, Pristiphora conjugata, Lygaeonematus compressicornis, Mordwilkoja vagabunda) are new records for Bartın. Of those, Amphipyra berbera was identified as a pest on poplar for the first time.
