An examination was made of the influence of the concentration of the compatibiliser-a graft copolymer of polystyrene with maleic anhydride-on the compatibility of a polyamide-polystyrene blend in a wide range of ratios. The influence of the length and frequency of distribution of the graft chains of the graft copolymer on the compatibility and deformation and strength properties of the polyamide-polystyrene blend was established.
An investigation was made of the process of extrusion processing of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) (CEB-1 and CEH-1) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with the aim of studying the effect of a change in their fractional composition on the properties of articles. The investigation of the effect of the extrusion processing of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a little investigated area in the processing of polyolefins. Such investigations are also of practical interest for the processing of base large-tonnage polyolefins. This is connected with the complexity of processing polyolefins on plasticising extruders [1-4].
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
