Research ArticlePhase equilibria was investigated in the Ti-Fe-P system at T = 1070 K in the region 0-67 at.% of P, employing X-ray powder diffraction. The two ternary compounds, namely Ti 0.5-0.8 Fe 1.5-1.2 P (Co 2 Si-type; space group Pnma; a = 0.5964 (2)
Phase relations in the Nb-Ni-Sb system at 1070 K are studied by x-ray diffraction. The results confirm the existence of the ternary compound Nb 28 Ni 33.5 Sb 12.5 (new structure type), which is shown to have a narrow homogeneity range. The system contains no solid solutions based on binary compounds, as evidenced by structural analysis data for NiSb and NbSb 2 in three-phase Nb-Ni-Sb samples.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
