In this article, we present a surfactant-free method for the preparation of graphene/ZnS nanocomposites. The as-synthesised products were characterised by the X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. It is shown that in the nanocomposites, individual ZnS nanoparticles are wellspread out on the graphene sheets. The good distribution of ZnS nanoparticles on graphene sheets would be promising for practical applications in future nanotechnology.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
