This study aims to create an accelerated linear motion experiment tool on an inclined plane that is more precise using photodiode and infrared sensors as timer based arduino pro mikro programming. The data from arduino is imported in excel format and students can export graphic. Output voltage from testing data is 4,86 volt for unblocked condition and 0,69 volt for blocked condition. Then the tool is used by students to experiment with variations in angle, distance, and mass. The implementation of the tool was carried out on a quasi-experimental method of one group pre-test-post-test design to compare the level of conceptual understanding of students before and after conducting experiments using the designed tools. To measure the level of student’s conceptual understanding used instruments that have been validated. The analyze showed an increase in conceptual understanding pre test and post test average from 0,38 to 0,85 and high correlation (r = 0,65). Doing experiment using modified inclined plane significantly increasing student’s conceptual understanding.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
