The articles presents approaches to extract of parts of conic form from positions of analysis of technological deformability of modern non-ferrous metals. Use of modeling on research of process of multitransitional sheet extract for products not only improves the quality of process development, but also allows to predict technology and behavior of workpiece metal before production start. For modeling finite element AUTOFORM system is used. Basic data and results of modeling are given.
Technological operations of sheet-metal forming cause uneven flanging of outer and inner loops. Uneven shape of opening leads to change of flanged edge flow process. Results of studies summarized on the basis of simulation. Modeling revealed problem areas for cut form in a flanged part.
Technological process of extrusion of hollow eccentric workpiece for high-pressure pump of diesel engine is investigated. Extrusion process with various sizes of eccentric head is simulated by means of QForm 2D finite element system.
Technological process of cold forging of the plunger tappet by using backward-and-forward extrusion is developed. Manufacturing process of the blank is simulated by means of QForm 3D simulation software. Measures for removal of causes of possible defects are described.
The article presents the technique of research of a plane strain condition of material by stretching of a tubular sample on a chuck. Experiments are made and thickness change diagrams for stretched sample are submitted. It is shown changes of deformation of destruction depending on wall thickness of a stretched sample for materials 20H and D16.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
