Peu de travaux ont été conduits dans la partie Sud du Parc National de Taï. La diversité des ligneux de diamètre supérieur ou égal à 10 cm a été mesurée et les espèces prépondérantes analysées. Des 156 espèces appartenant à 47 familles, 21 sont endémiques à la Haute Guinée, dont 3 ivoiriennes. Douze sont inscrites sur la liste rouge de l'UICN. La distribution des diamètres des espèces et ,particulièrement celle des prépondérantes, montre que la partie Sud du Sud du Parc National de Taï est semblable aux autres forêts tropicales.
RESUMELes différents milieux écologiques, identifiés à l'intérieur de la forêt classée de la Téné (Côte d'Ivoire), et dans ses environs, ont permis d'analyser les différents changements qui s'opèrent dans la flore originelle sous l'action des activités humaines. Le dispositif utilisé a consisté en une grille carrée de 2 km de côté à l'intérieur de laquelle des layons de direction Est-Ouest ont été ouverts à équidistance de 200 m. A la même équidistance, des placettes rectangulaires (20 m x 10 m) ont été également installées le long des layons. Ces placettes, qui se répartissent diversement dans les types d'occupation à l'intérieur de la « grille », ont été inventoriées. Les données issus d'échantillon de 45 placettes ont permis de dresser la liste des taxons composant chaque milieu écologique et d'évaluer la richesse spécifique de la grille. Au total, 374 taxons ont été recensés. Parmi eux, 39 taxons dont 5 endémiques de l'Afrique de l'Ouest, ont été exclusivement rencontrés en forêts naturelles avec 71 espèces pionnières. Ces taxons se répartissent entre 276 genres et 76 familles de plantes vasculaires. Alors qu'on observe un enrichissement progressif des espèces forestières dans les plantations forestières de plus en plus âgées, on assiste plutôt à une disparition progressive de ces espèces forestières dans les cultures lorsque l'âge augmente.Mots clés : Transformation de la flore, diversité floristique, forêt classée de la Téné, Côte d'Ivoire.
