With the development of the Cyber-Physical-Social Systems(CPSS), a large number of multidimensional time series have been generated in today's world, such as: sensor data for industrial equipment operation, vehicle driving data, and cloud server operation and maintenance data and so on. The key task of Cloud-Fog-Edge Computing in managing these systems is how to detect anomalous data in a specific time series to facilitate operator action to solve potential system problems. So multidimensional time series outlier detection become an important direction of CPSS data mining and Cloud-Fog-Edge Computing research, and it has a wide range of applications in industry, finance, medicine and other fields. This paper proposes a framework called Multidimensional time series Outlier detection based on a Time Convolutional Network AutoEncoder (MOTCN-AE), which can detect outliers in time series data, such as identifying equipment failures, dangerous driving behaviors of cars, etc. Specifically, this paper first uses a feature extraction method to transform the original time series into a feature-rich time series. Second, the proposed TCN-AE is used to reconstruct the feature-rich time series data, and the reconstruction error is used to calculate outlier scores. Finally, the MOTCN-AE framework is validated by multiple time series datasets to demonstrate its effectiveness in detecting time series outliers. It is difficult to coordinate the various processes in the process industry. We built a multiagent distributed hierarchical intelligent control model for manufacturing systems integrating multiple production units based on multiagent system technology. The model organically combines multiple intelligent agent modules and physical entities to form an intelligent control system with certain functions. The model consists of system management agent, workshop control agent, and equipment agent. For the task assignment problem with this model, we combine reinforcement learning to improve the genetic algorithm for multiagent task scheduling and use the standard task scheduling dataset in OR-Library for simulation experiment analysis. Experimental results show that the algorithm is superior.
Industrial defect detection is a hot topic in the field of computer vision. It is a challenging task due to complex features and many categories of industrial defects. In this paper, a deep learning model based on the multiscale feature extraction module is introduced for steel surface defect detection. The main focus on the feature extraction capability of the model and feature fusion capability to improve the accuracy of the model for steel surface defect detection. First, to improve the feature extraction ability of the model, a multiscale feature extraction (MSFE) module is introduced. The MSFE module can effectively extract multiscale features through three branches that have different convolution kernel sizes. Second, an efficient feature fusion (EFF) module is proposed to optimize feature fusion by adding features from the backbone network to the neck network. Third, this paper puts forward a new Bottleneck module by reducing the normalization layer and activation function in the original Bottleneck module. Finally, the backbone network is deepened to further enhance the feature extraction ability of the model. Extensive experiments are conducted on the public NEU-DET dataset. The experimental results validate the effectiveness of the designed modules and the proposed model. Compared with other state-of-the-art methods, the proposed model achieves optimal accuracy(73.08% mAP@0.5) while maintaining a small number of parameters.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
