Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been regarded as an ideal material for the development of functional textiles with filtration function. Such functional textiles with filtration function can be further used to develop personal protective equipment, such as protective masks. This paper focuses on the comparisons of different processes when applying MOFs to conventional textiles. Two different processes existing in the literature, namely the electrospinning method and hot-pressing method, are discussed in this paper. Materials loaded with MOFs developed with these two processes are evaluated and compared, regarding the adsorption of dyes in water and the removal of pollutants. Experiment results indicate that the hot-pressing method is more advantageous when applying MOF to textiles, in terms of adsorption and removal efficiency.
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate physiological indices related to comfort and health condition, based on which corresponding electronic equipment are selected and applied. A wearable monitoring system using sensor and liquid crystal display (LCD) techniques are then designed. Sensors are used to collect and transmit recording required signals from the wearer. A microcomputer with the type of AT89C52 is used to record and analyze the collected data. LCD is applied to display the health and comfort condition of the wearer. Design/methodology/approach A novel wearable monitoring system for the measurement of physiological indices and clothing microclimate is proposed in this study in order to monitoring both health and comfort condition of the wearer. Findings The proposed system provides reference for the application of sensor and display technologies in the field of smart clothing, which can be further applied to infant and child care, health care, home entertainment, military and industry. Originality/value This paper, first, investigated a framework of a wearable monitoring system considering both comfort and health condition and summarized the related physiological indices. The requirements of both comfort and health condition monitoring are analyzed to select appropriate electronic elements.
Cuvinte-cheie: valoarea percepută de consumator, analiza comportamentală a consumatorului, modelare, ipoteză, proces bazat pe cunoaștere, structură ierarhică A framework of consumer perceived value on fashion products for female college students of FranceConsumer perceived value is paid attention by marketing and branding experts recently. Current existing researches related to consumer perceived value are lack of analysis of inner dimensions of the consumer perceived value framework. In this study, our research focuses on the development of the consumer perceived value framework. To demonstrate the application of the proposed framework, a fashion-based consumer perceived value framework for French female college students is developed. In order to obtain the desired framework, a knowledge-based conjecture is firstly performed by a group of professional fashion marketing managers to generate a set of dimensions and corresponding indicators of consumer perceived value, which contains 4 dimensions and 26 indicators. After that, the conjecture framework is validated and adapted through a process of statics analysis based on experimental results of collecting data from 350 female college students in France. Finally, we obtained a framework of consumer perceived value for French female college students, which contains 7 dimensions and 26 indicators. The proposed framework is validated though a set of analysis. Related experimental result has demonstrated that the final framework can be furth...
Background As mosquitoes are one of the most harmful creatures in the world, recent high-frequency interceptions of invasive mosquito species have emphasized the need to enhance the biological security of the Zhejiang Province in China. As such, an integrated management system should be implemented to monitor the vectors of mosquito-borne diseases during data digitization and the processing of permanent E-forms and provide an online one-stop identification service. Methods This system is a semi-open network built on the latest Microsoft.NET Framework, Active Server Page.NET (ASP.NET) and Internet Information Services (IIS) for the Windows 2000 service as a basic infrastructure platform. This creates a physical separation between the data input as the back-page intranet and the online automated Lucid identification as the front-page internet through the digital interchange platform and security firewall. Results This system mainly comprises three core modules: automated statistical analysis of operational data, online vector identification and digital specimen storage management, in addition to accessory modules. The joint analysis of invasive and native data collected between 2011 and 2017 at 14 surveillance points in the Zhejiang Province, excluding Ningbo Port, provided insights into the geographical differences in species abundance and the dynamic nature of seasonal interception within the statistical analysis module. Most importantly, multi-access keys to mosquitoes based on Lucid software were loaded in the module for vector identification. Subscribers can utilize this procedure for the online identification of 2 subfamilies, 10 genera and 33 mosquitoes by selecting any typical morphological feature in the classification system that matches the current images at hand. Conclusions Our report suggests that this system can enhance the ability to master the basic information on invasive mosquitoes and satisfy the increasing requirements for public health safety in the integrated management of vector-borne diseases.
The transformation of stream power was analyzed under different water discharge amount on loess slope in Hydraulic Research Base of Yellow River Institute of Hydraulic Research. The observation data shows that: the stream powers were increasing gradually with time at the initial stage, and then they got the waved steady state at 10-18min in different water drainage amounts on 20°slope, at this moment, the steady stream power of 10 L/min water drainage amounts was biggest, about 30P, it was 1.8, 1.5, 7, 17 times than the steady stream power of 7.5, 5, 4, 3L/min water drainage amounts; the stream powers got the waved steady state about at 16min in 5L/min water drainage amounts on different grades slope, at this moment, the steady stream power of 20°slope was biggest, about 20P, it was about 1.3 times than the steady stream power of 10°and 30°slope. They had a good relationship of power exponent between stream power and denudation rate, the related coefficient was 0.81, so we can indicate the denudation rate by the stream power.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
