A novel adaptive morphological attribute profile under object boundary constraint (AMAP–OBC) method is proposed in this study for automatic building extraction from high-resolution remote sensing (HRRS) images. By investigating the associated attributes in morphological attribute profiles (MAPs), the proposed method establishes corresponding relationships between AMAP–OBC and building characteristics in HRRS images. In the preprocessing step, the candidate object set is extracted by a group of rules for screening of non-building objects. Second, based on the proposed adaptive scale parameter extraction and object boundary constraint strategies, AMAP–OBC is conducted to obtain the initial building set. Finally, a further identification strategy with adaptive threshold combination is proposed to obtain the final building extraction results. Through experiments of multiple groups of HRRS images from different sensors, the proposed method shows outstanding performance in terms of automatic building extraction from diverse geographic objects in urban scenes.

Multi-Agent system has broad application in real world, whose security performance, however, is barely considered. Reinforcement learning is one of the most important methods to resolve Multi-Agent problems. At present, certain progress has been made in applying Multi-Agent reinforcement learning to robot system, man-machine match, and automatic, etc. However, in the above area, an agent may fall into unsafe states where the agent may find it difficult to bypass obstacles, to receive information from other agents and so on. Ensuring the safety of Multi-Agent system is of great importance in the above areas where an agent may fall into dangerous states that are irreversible, causing great damage. To solve the safety problem, in this paper we introduce a Multi-Agent Cooperation Q-Learning Algorithm based on Constrained Markov Game. In this method, safety constraints are added to the set of actions, and each agent, when interacting with the environment to search for optimal values, should be restricted by the safety rules, so as to obtain an optimal policy that satisfies the security requirements. Since traditional Multi-Agent reinforcement learning algorithm is no more suitable for the proposed model in this paper, a new solution is introduced for calculating the global optimum state-action function that satisfies the safety constraints. We take advantage of the Lagrange multiplier method to determine the optimal action that can be performed in the current state based on the premise of linearizing constraint functions, under conditions that the state-action function and the constraint function are both differentiable, which not only improves the efficiency and accuracy of the algorithm, but also guarantees to obtain the global optimal solution. The experiments verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Fully convolutional networks (FCN) such as UNet and DeepLabv3+ are highly competitive when being applied in the detection of earthquake-damaged buildings in very high-resolution (VHR) remote sensing images. However, existing methods show some drawbacks, including incomplete extraction of different sizes of buildings and inaccurate boundary prediction. It is attributed to a deficiency in the global context-aware and inaccurate correlation mining in the spatial context as well as failure to consider the relative positional relationship between pixels and boundaries. Hence, a detection method for earthquake-damaged buildings based on the object contextual representations (OCR) and boundary enhanced loss (BE loss) was proposed. At first, the OCR module was separately embedded into high-level feature extractions of the two networks DeepLabv3+ and UNet in order to enhance the feature representation; in addition, a novel loss function, that is, BE loss, was designed according to the distance between the pixels and boundaries to force the networks to pay more attention to the learning of the boundary pixels. Finally, two improved networks (including OB-DeepLabv3+ and OB-UNet) were established according to the two strategies. To verify the performance of the proposed method, two benchmark datasets (including YSH and HTI) for detecting earthquake-damaged buildings were constructed according to the post-earthquake images in China and Haiti in 2010, respectively. The experimental results show that both the embedment of the OCR module and application of BE loss contribute to significantly increasing the detection accuracy of earthquake-damaged buildings and the two proposed networks are feasible and effective.

Aiming at the folds caused by the sparse data in the process of DTM (Digital Terrain Model), this article proposed a method of interpolating spatial control points based on Delaunay triangulation and Kriging interpolation algorithm. The terrain data of an area with complex terrain in Xianyang was used to construct terrain model according to the proposed algorithm. Experimental results show that the method can finish the interpolation of the terrain denser data quickly and accurately, and it provides an efficient technological tool for building a true three-dimensional terrain model.
