The mixture of isocyanate and urea-formaldehyde adhesive resin was used to manufacture low-cost straw particle board by hot-pressing process. Influence of the hot-pressing temperature, hot-pressing time, board density and the amount of isocyanate adhesive on straw particle board mechanical properties were studied. The resulted showed that, within a certain range, the straw particle board physics performance was improved with the increase of hot-pressing temperature, hot-pressing time, board density and the amount of isocyanate adhesive. The proper hot-pressing process of cost-straw particleboard is hot-pressing time for 40s/mm, MDI applied amount of 3%,a density of 0.7 g/cm3, hot-pressing temperature of 180 °C
Use acid scarlet3R ,acid orangeⅡ,acid black ATT and black powder as pigment,prepare for Acid Color, choose four fast growing woods-Chinese fir, poplar, eucalyptus and rubber wood as research objects, study on dyeing properties and dyeing effects of acid dyes for different tree species. It is found, there are differences in staining effects for four fast growing woods. Attachment properties of dyestuff solution on Chinese fir is good, but dyes proportion is very poor; Attachment properties of dyestuff solution on poplar is good, but dyes proportion is very poor; Both attachment property of dyestuff solution and dyes proportion of eucalyptus are not good; Both attachment property of dyestuff solution and dyes proportion of rubber wood are good.
In order to make full use of old newspapers and preserve precious plant resource, old newspapers were reclaimed and refined into fiber, then phthalic anhydride (PA) was utilized to modify the reclaimed-fiber on the condition of ultrasonic radiation. Subsequently, reclaimed-fiber was mixed with polylactic acids (PLA) to obtain composites by means of extrusion molding. At last, mechanical performances of the composite were tested. Results reveal that: composite made form PLA and the PA treated reclaimed-fiber from old newspapers has good mechanical performances, and its tensile strength is higher than 41.5MPa while impact strength is no less than 7.3KJ/m2. Moreover, the optimum processing conditions for modifying reclaimed-fiber with PA are: mass fraction of phthalic anhydride to old newspaper reclaimed fiber 5%, ultrasonic radiation time 15min, and modification temperature 90°C.
The hot-pressing technology of cement bamboo particleboard was studied by changing hot-pressing temperature, adhesive/bamboo ratio, board density and additives amount of NaHCO3. Then variance analysis and regressive analysis were conducted on technological parameters. The results indicated that the optimizing technology parameters of cement bamboo particleboard are hot-pressing temperature 130 , adhesive/bamboo ratio 2.8, additives amount of NaHCO310%, boardl density 1.2g/cm3.
Steam-injection pressing technology is a kind of new hot-pressing technology researched and developed in recent years, its hot-pressing performance significantly better than traditional hot-pressing. The technical principle, method and research progress of steam-injection pressing technology was reviewed in detail and its future research trend is also outlined.
