CONSENSO CHILENO DE REHABILITACIÓN RESPIRATORIA EN EL PACIENTE CON EPOC IntroducciónUna proporción signifi cativa de los pacientes con enfermedades respiratorias crónicas tiene alteración en su composición corporal siendo la Enfermedad Pulmonar Obstructiva Crónica (EPOC) la entidad respiratoria crónica mejor estudiada en este aspecto. Se estima que un tercio de los pacientes con EPOC moderado a severo tienen una relación peso/talla bajo lo normal 1 .
