A new poly(ester amide)s (PEA) derived from L-lactic acid and α-alanine have been synthesized by melting copolymerization with p-toluenesulfonic acid (TSA) with stannous chloride (SnCl2) as catalyst. The products were analyzed by NMR, FT IR techniques. The effects of the content of α-alanine (L-Ala) on the copolymers structure were studied. Being the phosphate buffered saline (pH=7.2) as the degradation solution, the degradation rate speed up with the increasing the content of the α-alanine.
This paper presented the synthesis of fluorosilicone copolymer latex with dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate(G04), vinyl triethoxysilane(DB-151), methyl methacrylate(MMA) acrylic acid(AA), butyl acrylate(BA) by emulsion copolymerization and characterized by FTIR. The physical properties are also measured by particle sizes and distributions, water absorption, pencil hardness, circle adhesion method, etc. The obtained fluorosilicone latex showed us excellent comprehensive performance compared to the common acrylate latex.
This study is to report the synthesis of polyacrylate-siloxane latex with vinyl triethoxysilane(DB-151), methyl methacrylate(MMA) acrylic acid(AA), butyl acrylate(BA) by emulsion copolymerization and characterized by FTIR. The physical properties are also analysized by water absorption, pencil hardness, circle adhesion method, etc.. The polymerization factors for emulsion had been discussed in several aspects. The results showed that the optimal conditions for synthesizing silicone-acrylate emulsion were of DB -151content of 6%~8%, emulsifier OP-10/SDS/ DNS-458 ratio:2/1/1, in stirring rate 450 r/min in the period of disperse and emulsification, stirring rate 200 r/min in the period of synthesis, with reaction temperature 75°C.
Chitosan-g-MMA was prepared with methyl methacrylate using ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) as an initiator under nitrogen atmosphere in aqueous solution and characterized by FTIR spectroscopy. The effects of concentration of CAN, the amount of MMA, reaction temperature on graft copolymerization were studied by determining the grafting percentage and grafting efficiency. The maximum grafting percentage and grafting efficiency obtained under these conditions were 790 % and 83 %, respectively.
