The imbalance in the allocation in healthcare resources between urban and rural areas has become a main focus of the recent medical reforms adopted in China. However, systematic analysis has identified wide differences in the allocation of healthcare resources between urban and rural areas, including healthcare expenditures and the number of healthcare facilities, available beds, and personnel. Therefore, the aim of this report was to identify ethical considerations in current governmental policies to rectify existing problems in the distribution of healthcare resources. Our findings indicate that the inequality in the distribution of healthcare resources does not adhere to ethical standards and the policies are flawed because they give rise to differences in the availability of medical care to urban and rural communities. To optimize the allocation of medical healthcare resources, countermeasures are proposed to formulate policies to urge the flow of public healthcare resources to rural areas, strengthen the responsibilities of both governmental and public financial investments, increase the construction of public healthcare facilities in rural areas, promote the quality of healthcare resources, adjust resource allocations to rural public healthcare facilities, and improve resource utilization efficiency by establishing two-way referral mechanisms.
Son of sevenless (SOS) is one of the guanine nucleotide exchange factors that can regulate the mitogen‐activated protein kinase/extracellular signal regulated kinase signal pathway via controlling the activation of Ras. microRNAs are key regulon of gene expression and would be treated as tumor biomarkers or therapeutic targets. In this study, we find that miR‐148a‐3p acts as a tumor‐suppressor in the development and progression of non‐small‐cell lung cancer (NSCLC). miR‐148a‐3p inhibits NSCLC cells proliferation and epithelial–mesenchymal transition by reducing the expression of SOS2, which refers Ras activating. Our findings demonstrate that the miR‐148a‐3p may play a significant role in NSCLC including the kind of lung cancer with K‐Ras gene mutation, and it exerted the tumor inhibitor function by targeting SOS2. Because of that, miR‐148a‐3p and SOS2 may be an efficient target in developing more useful therapies against NSCLC.
Aim: To conduct a meta-analysis to determine the relative merits between robotic video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (R-VATS) and conventional video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for lung cancer. Materials and Methods: A literature search was performed to identify comparative studies reporting perioperative outcomes for R-VATS and VATS for lung cancer. Pooled risk ratio (RR) and standardized mean differences (SMDs) with 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) were calculated using either the fixed effects model or the random effects model.Conclusions: There is no difference in terms of perioperative outcomes between R-VATS and VATS except for the operative time which is significantly high for R-VATS. Further studies are required to confirm these results.
This paper mainly analyzes and discusses the necessity of integrating traditional culture into the professional education of Chinese contemporary art design, the current situation of integration, and the ways of integration, and summarizes the practical experience of integrating traditional culture of Chinese contemporary design education into the exploration process. Through the analysis of the current situation and the elaboration of practical cases, the problems and experience in the combination of art design and traditional culture of Chinese public universities are discussed. This paper summarizes the urgency of integrating traditional culture into modern design education in China and its promoting role in the development of Chinese contemporary design.
Signalized intersection delay is an important evaluation index of the signalized intersection capacity and level of service. This paper presents a signalized intersection delay model for signalized intersection. The model uses time series and queuing theory. It discusses the operation characteristics of the process of arrival and leaving and optimizes the intersection signal timing and gets the best signal cycle time. A scientific model and a more complete analysis are founded in the paper. These methods have a good reference value to the relevant departments.
