Abstract. This paper presents an effective method of NC machining cutting parameters optimization. For a given machine NC code, we use the secondary development tools provided by VERICUT software, the time series segmentation algorithm of sliding window technique, back stepping method for getting the feed rate based on the empirical formula and other methods to extract, process and optimize the cutting data. As a result of these, we can make the output power of the spindle reaching smooth and get the optimized processing code finally.
Abstract. The machine output power smoothing has an important significance to improve the efficiency and quality of machining. With the secondary development of cutting geometry simulation software, we have got the geometry cutting parameters, carried out a physical simulation of the whole cutting processing and optimized the cutting parameters in this paper. The results show that this method is efficient and practical and finally improve the stability of NC machining process.

By the cutting power simulation based on classic dynamic cutting force model, this paper present a Simplified Cutting Force Model combined with gauss-newton iteration method. Physical simulation of complex cutting processing and cutting parameters optimization for cutting power smoothing can be achieved with high efficiency by using this model. Results show that it is an efficient and practical method to improve the stability of NC machining process.
