The current study demonstrates vanadium plays the role of antitumor, and its antitumor effect is dosage-dependent. N-acetyl-galactosamine-transferase 2 (polypeptide: N-acetyl-α-galactosaminyl-transferases 2, ppGalNAc-T2) is a member of ppGalNAcTs (polypeptide: N-acetyl-α-galactosaminyl-transferases) family, which proves to play a vital role in the tumor emergence and development process. In this study, we focused on ppGalNAc-T2 and vanadium and aimed to determine whether ppGalNAc-T2 is correlated with vanadium's antitumor effect. We discovered that ppGalNAc-T2 changed with the variation of HL-60 cell growth induced by vanadium at mRNA level. Peanut agglutinin (PNA) is an exogenous lectin. PpGalNacT2 can be indirectly recognized by PNA. By means of flow cytometry and immunofluorescent staining, we found the deviation of PNA binding increased significantly at high concentration vanadium. Then we docked one of the possible compound substances of vanadium onto the body, VO(3) (molecular formula O(13)V(4), partial vanadate tetramer) and ppGalNAcT2, and simulated them via molecular dynamics, which showed that VO(3) may inhibit the activity of the enzyme by stemming conformational changes of a key loop of ppGalNAcT2. To sum up, our results suggested that ppGalNacT2 participated in vanadium induced HL-60 cell differentiation, which might be able to provide a new mechanism of vanadium's antitumor effect.
Taxonomic and phylogenetic studies on Scleroderma in China were carried out. One poisonous species was discovered at the scene of poisoning that could not match any known species, and is described morphologically and molecularly as a new species: Scleroderma venenatum. It is characterized by its two layered peridium, brown to greyish brown surface with scattered, small and thin scales, presence of moniliform hyphae in gleba and middle size echinulate basidiospores (9−13 μm, including ornamentation) with dense narrow pyramidal warts. At the same time, S. venenatum var. macrosporum was found which shares most characteristics with S. venenatum var. venenatum except its distinctly larger basidiospores (12−16 μm), and occasionally presence of clamp connections in the inner layer of the peridium. Scleroderma suthepense, originally described from Thailand was also discovered from tropical areas of Guangdong and Yunnan Provinces, which was characterized by its strongly reticulate basidiospores (8−11.5 μm). A key to the known species of Scleroderma in China is also provided.
Evaluation of montmorillonite for paraquat by in vitro and in vivo test. In vitro test were evaluated by a batch test, taking the paraquat concentration, adsorbents, reaction environment and time as indices, the absorption rate was screened by orthogonal design. In vivo test was executed with rabbits. Group 1: 4 rabbits dosed with montmorillonite. Group 2: 8 rabbits dosed with 200 mg/kg paraquat. Group 3: 6 rabbits dosed with 200 mg/kg paraquat then gavage with montmorillonite 5 min later. Group 4: 6 rabbits dosed with 200 mg/kg paraquat then gavage with montmorillonite 30 min later. Blood paraquat concentration, serum cytokines, blood gas analysis and histopathology of lung were implemented. In vitro test found that all the four factors influence the absorption rate of paraquat (P < 0.05). In vitro test found that oral montmorillonite could change toxicokinetics parameters of paraquat (P < 0.05); decrease raised serum TGF-β1 and HMGB1 (P < 0.05) and alleviate the histopathology damage of lung. Montmorillonite might exert its protective effects on paraquat induced damage.

The analysis results show that Factors of mixing type, control accuracy and operating method of great quality variability of asphalt mixture; Different variability of various mixing raw materials; Mixture gradation variability index in 9.5mm, 4.75mm and 2.36mm sieve is greater, And the maximum at 4.75mm; Mixing plant start and end of the mixture quality variability than mixing intermediate stage. Finally, aiming at the mixing plant proposed a series of measures to reduce the mixture quality variability.
