. 1997. Immunohistochemical localization of proteoglycans in bovine skeletal muscle and adipose connective tissues. Can. J. Anim. Sci. 77: 169-172. Monoclonal antibodies were used to immunolocate proteoglycans in bovine skeletal muscle and adipose connective tissues. Intense stainings with the anti-decorin antibody were observed in the epimysium, perimysium and adipose connective tissues. Weak but positive immunostainings for chondroitin sulphate were also observed in these tissues.Key words: Proteoglycan, glycosaminoglycan, muscle, adipose tissue, beef Nakano, T., Li, X., Sunwoo, H. H. et Sim, J. S. 1997. Can. J. Anim. Sci. 77: 169-172.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
