This paper deals with silylated and maleated polybutadiene oils and their effects in rubber compounds containing silica(tes) resp. chalk as fillers. They are shown to be efficient aids in the substitution of oil-dependent carbon black by mineral fillers.
ZUSAMMENFASSUNG:Dieser Artikel befaBt sich mit silylierten bzw. maleinisierten Polybutadien6len und ihren Effekten in Kieselsiiure und Silicate bzw. Kreide enthaltenden Kautschukmischungen. Sie erweisen sich als wirksame Hilfsstoffe fiir die Substitution von RUB durch mineralische Fiillstoffe.
Es wird der zeitliche Verlauf der Polymerisation des Butadiens mit Alfin‐Katalysatoren untersucht und festgestellt, daß zu Beginn extrem hochmolekulare Polybutadiene gebildet werden. Durch Zusätze von n‐Donatoren lassen sich die Molekulargewichte der Polybutadiene in gewünschter Weise erniedrigen, wobei bei einigen Polybutadiene mit veränderter Struktur entstehen. Ohne Strukturveränderung regelt Triphenylphosphin.
Mit Nickelverbindungen als Zusätze zu Alfin‐Katalysatoren entstehen Polymere, die keine höheren 1,4‐cis‐Anteile aufweisen. Die Geschwindigkeit der Butadienpolymerisation am Alfin‐Katalysator ist demnach wesentlich höher als an nickelhaltigen Katalysatoren vom Typ der Zieglerkatalysatoren.
