SummaryThe dynamic searchable encryption schemes generate search tokens for the encrypted data on a cloud server periodically or on a demand. With such search tokens, a user can query the encrypted data whiles preserving the data's privacy; ie, the cloud server can retrieve the query results to the user but do not know the content of the encrypted data. A framework DSSE with Forward Privacy (dynamic symmetric searchable encryption [DSSE] with forward privacy), which consists of Internet of Things and Cloud storage, with the attributes of the searchable encryption and the privacy preserving are proposed.Compared with the known DSSE schemes, our approach supports the multiusers query. Furthermore, our approach successfully patched most of the security flaws related to the sensitive information's leakage in the DSSE schemes. Both security analysis and simulations show that our approach outperforms other DSSE schemes with respect to both effectiveness and efficiency.
Today's world is a global village. Everyone is connected to one another in this vast network generated by the Internet. As social media sites continue to grow in popularity it promises a lot for the modern youth. Social media has been widely adopted, with high enthusiasm among youth around the world. With very few studies focusing on youth social media use in Ghana there is wide open array of work to be done. Based on the findings of several research studies in social media area, it has been found that these Social networking sites are having a great impact on the lives of young people. Also since most of the research works have been carried out in other countries, it was found necessary and important to carry out a study in Ghana on the impact of Social Media on the youth. The main objectives of this study were to investigate the extent of social media use and the purposes, access and impact of its use by the young people in Ghana. Two hundred youth aged between 15-25 participated in the study. The findings revealed patterns of young people's social media use consistent with similar studies of youths in other countries. The study revealed the need for young people to have a greater awareness of the risks of social media use. It was found that the majority of Ghanaian youths were using Social media on an enormous scale, mainly for communication purposes. According to this study, although social media has a positive impact on the youth, yet quite a large number of respondents reported having met with negative experiences on these online sites.
The recent technological advancement and complexity of software makes it very difficult to maintain and improve the quality of software. Software testing is a technique used in validating and verifying that a develop software meets it requirements and specification hence the need to properly generate suitable test case to test programs. Software testing consumers a lot of time, effort and money, therefore the focus of testing largely depends on test case generation, execution and evaluation. Automated testing is a technique used to maximize test coverage, detect more errors, increase test execution, decrease cost as well as improving the quality of software. This paper reviews the use of Genetic algorithm to automatically generate test case using the random method.
An Information System (IS) offers various benefits in managing transactions between an organization and its customers. Lack of Information system purely oriented to customer satisfaction leads to long waiting lines by customers in service delivery. It will influence negatively on-expected revenue and profit to various establishments in the long term. With recent trends in specific IS applications, expectations are that if waiting lines are not eliminated, perhaps may be reduce drastically in service delivery. Several steps were taken in putting measures in place by expanding facilities, providing timely and periodic maintenance, yet waiting lines are observed in places like; Bank Automated Teller Machine(ATM) (as an extended banking services), Electricity Company pay points, Clinics and Hospitals etc. These reviews seek to focus on Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) in Ghana since long waiting line is much associated with their service delivery. Using Convenience sampling technique, questionnaires were administered in eliciting data from staff and clients of DVLA. Final data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS); with the support of Microsoft Excel 2010 in depicting the results in frequency tables, percentages, charts etc. The trends in the results show evidently that even though Information Systems was used in the services delivery process; there are prevailing waiting lines, which were observed. It was also established that services delivery processes are not electronic at DVLA, resulting in the formation of the longer waiting lines.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
