Lokomotywy spalinowe serii SM42 były produkowane przez Fabrykę
Lokomotyw w Chrzanowie przez ponad 30 lat. Ogółem wyprodukowano około
1800 lokomotyw. W latach 70-tych część lokomotyw wyposażono w instalację
ogrzewania wagonów, a w latach 1999-2000 40 sztuk lokomotyw wyposażono w
agregat prądotwórczy i trójfazową prądnicę synchronizowaną do ogrzewania
wagonów. Lokomotywy serii SM42 należą do najpopularniejszych lokomotyw
spalinowych eksploatowanych w Polsce.
CAT C27 i C15 firmy Catterpillar.
Prezentowany artykuł jest poświęcony trzeciemu wariantowi modernizacji,
realizowanemu wspólnie przez Instytut Pojazdów Szynowych „TABOR” w
Poznaniu i Fablok Chrzanów, w oparciu o silnik spalinowy firmy MAN.
W artykule zaprezentowano charakterystyki trakcyjne i możliwości pociągowe
lokomotywy oraz jej podstawowe parametry. Ponadto przedstawiono opisy
nowych i zmodernizowanych zespołów i układów oraz zakres prób i badań
będących do wykonania dla uzyskania świadectwa dopuszczenia do
eksploatacji. Referat powstał w ramach realizowanego projektu celowego nr
6ZR6 2008C/07089 pt. Zmodernizowana lokomotywa manewrowa typu 6D
(serii SM42) z silnikiem spalinowym spełniającym wymagania normy EURO
IIIa.
In response to the market demand for modern special-purpose rail vehicles, an overview of the rolling stock available on the European and world markets was developed, along with an analysis of the scope of works they performed. The need for new alternative forms of propulsion in line with the development directions, taking into account EU and national environmental goals, was discussed. The paper presents a design of a proprietary modern special-purpose vehicle with an alternative drive. It discusses it compared to other special-purpose vehicles regarding their parameters and the viability of different drive systems, including hydrogen fuel cells.
W artykule przedstawiono innowacyjne rozwiązanie „Modułowy system transportu
kombinowanego”, służący do przewozu naczep drogowych. Zaprezentowano podstawowe
składowe struktury systemu. Opisano etapy formowania składu pociągu w
technologii przeładunku poziomego oraz związane z tym rodzajem przeładunku zalety.
Porównano system do istniejących technologii transportu kombinowanego. Prezentowany
projekt jest wynikiem prac badawczych prowadzonych w ramach realizacji
projektu rozwojowego nr R10-0065-10 „System transportu naczep drogowych na
wózkach kolejowych w kombinowanym ruchu kolejowo-drogowym”.
W artykule zaprezentowano uniwersalny ciągnik szynowo-drogowy trzeciej generacji
szerokich 1520 mm.
Strict emission standards mean that the internal combustion engines used in means of transport must meet the standards for the emission of harmful compounds. For this reason, there is an increase in the use of alternative sources of propulsion, including rail transport. The article presents unconventional solutions of drive systems in rail vehicles using hybrid systems and fuel cells. The concept of the realizing project of a special-purpose rail vehicle, which is to be able to be driven from three different sources, was presented. Considerations concerning the selection of the internal combustion propulsion system, which is to be used as an auxiliary in the vehicle, are described. The possibilities of installing the power unit on the vehicle were also presented.
