Pandemi COVID-19 telah mempengaruhi hampir semua aspek kehidupan, terutama di sektor ekonomi dan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) yang sebagian besar adalah perempuan. Kaum Hawa menjadi salah satu populasi yang paling rentan terhadap pandemi COVID-19. Srikandi Lintas Iman (SRILI) adalah komunitas perempuan yang telah melakukan dialog lintas agama sejak tahun 2015 dan terus melakukan pemberdayaan ekonomi umat untuk memperkuat solidaritas perempuan lintas agama dalam menghadapi pandemi COVID-19. Salah satu proyek pemberdayaan ekonomi SRILI adalah pengelolaan pasar online Srili Bakoelan dan gerakan Nglarisi Dagangan Teman melalui media sosial. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menjawab dua pertanyaan besar: bagaimana pendekatan dan pengorganisasian program dan bagaimana mempromosikan transformasi pribadi komunitas Srili Bakoelan serta pengembangan potensi ekonomi kreatif di keluarga dan komunitas keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solidaritas sosial, jejaring social, dan ikatan social merupakan aset berharga yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh suatu komunitas untuk selalu adaptif dalam menyediakan wadah dialog antaragama dan respon terhadap masalah-masalah sosial
This article examines Maria Theresia Geme's thoughts and works on the issue of religious harmony through Forum for Religious Harmony (FKUB) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This is a qualitative study which gathers data through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. This research aims to address three primary questions: (1) How the agency of "women's leadership" of Maria T. Geme within FKUB NTT?; (2) What is her perspective on women's involvement in issues of religious harmony and peace building?; (3) What are Maria thoughts and works while leading FKUB NTT, and what it's implications for interfaith dialogue and religious harmony? This study concluded that Geme is the first and only woman in the history of Indonesia to lead FKUB at the provincial level. Her leadership strategy is to integrate women's leadership and her agency in the development of FKUB initiatives, in order to emphasizes women's involvement on the issue of religious harmony with mubadalah paradigm (mutuality). For Geme, the Indonesian identity will be strengthened through a balanced relationship between religious values and local wisdom. Therefore, preserving and strengthening local wisdom is one of important things in developing and fostering interfaith dialogue and religious harmony.
<p><span lang="EN-US">This article aims to describe the nation-building discourse and movement in Southeast Asia, particularly in Aceh-Indonesia and Pattani-Thailand. The significance of this research lies in the fact that these two regions share similar characteristics. Among them are socio-cultural and religio-political situations as conflict-affected areas with the dynamics of national discourse, and fluctuate views on national integration with the state. Islamic educational institutions in these two regions have contributed significantly in the formation of the nation-state. <em>Dayah</em> in Aceh and <em>Pondok</em> in Pattani not only serve as the centres of Islamic studies and character building for the community, but also function as the stage for social, cultural and political movements. Thus, <em>Dayah</em> and <em>Pondok</em> became the institutions to shape Islamic extremist as well as the agent to strengthen political identity. This article attempts to explain the genealogy of Islamic education and the metamorphosis of national discourse in these two regions. In addition, this article will also reveal the role of local actors in ethno-religious discourses and movements, and the response of the state and its apparatus in efforts to maintain national unity and statehood</span></p>
