Pertumbuhan penduduk yang tidak terkendali akan menyebabkan semakin meningkatnya kemiskinan dan pada akhirnya dapat menyebabkan rendahnya nilai sumber daya manusia. Kontrasepsi merupakan upaya dalam pencegahan kehamilan, dapat bersifat sementara dan menetap. Salah satu jenis kontrasepsi yang banyak diminati oleh pasangan usia subur (PUS) di Indonesia adalah kontrasepsi hormonal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan kontrasepsi pil dalam penurunan seksual pasangan usia subur di Puskesmas Kapasa Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan penelitian Cross Sectional adalah adalah jenis penelitian yang menekankan waktu pengukuran atau observasi data variabel independent dan dependen hanya satu kali pada satu saat, dengan uji chi square interval kepercayaan a=0,05. Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah 65 orang. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Non probability Sampling dengan jenis Purposive Sampling sehingga besar sampel yang didapakan yaitu 56 sampel. Hasil analisis uji statistik didapatkan nilai ρ= 0,009 jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya hubungan penggunaan kontrasepsi pil dalam penurunan seksual pasangan usia subur di Puskesmas Kapasa Kota Makassar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan bidan dapat memberikan penyuluhan kepada akseptor kb pil mengenai efek samping dan cara mengatasinya melalui kunjungan ulang sehingga akseptor dapat mengerti dan memahami perubahan yang terjadi pada dirinya.
