Work stress due to excessive demands on the workplace is a problem of human resource management in the hospital. The high workload is one of the factors that cause work stress for nurses. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and work stress on nurses in the Intensive Care Unit at Bangil Hospital. The design of this study was an analytic survey using cross-sectional study. The population of all nurses working in the Intensive Care Installation with a sample of 40 respondents and using purposive sampling technique. Workload instruments use work sampling observation sheets, while work stress instruments use questionnaires based on Sulsky and Smith's theory of Jusnimar, (2012) modified. The results of the study using Spearman rho showed a relationship between workload and work stress on nurses with p-value = 0.000 (<0.05) and an r-value of 0.551. The level of dependency of the client and the amount of labor that is not appropriate is a factor of high workload so that nurses experience work stress. There needs to be an evaluation of the number of nurse needs or the provision of rewards and stress management training for nurses to adapt and control work stress.
Diabetes mellitus causes a lot of various complaints and complications. One of the most serious and most common complications is diabetic ulcers. Prevention of diabetic ulcer complications can be done with comprehensive wound care. The Appropriate wound care management can prevent amputation. One of a method of wound care that can accelerate the wound healing process is modern dressing wounds. This researched aim to analyze the effectiveness of wound care using modern dressing method to the diabetes mellitus patients. The research design was pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test with 15 samples. The data analyzed using Paired T-test. The result of data analysis using Paired T-test with significance level of 5% obtained à= 0,000 and the average value of wound development before and after wound treatment using modern dressing method has decrease from 39,67to 29,93 because wound care with modern dressing method make environment of wound is moist so that capitalization and granulation process growth up be faster. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of wound care using modern dressing method to the wound healing process with diabetes mellitus.
Many families of BPJS or general patients assume that the nurse's response time is slow. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in family perceptions of BPJS and general patients about nurse response time based on triage in emergency room. The method in this study is quantitative descriptive with a comparative approach. The design used was cross-sectional with taking consecutive sampling techniques. The variables studied were differences in family perceptions of BPJS patients and the general about the response time of nurses based on triage in the emergency room. The results showed that the majority of patients including BPJS participants had a negative perception of 27 respondents (67.5%). And in General patients, most respondents had a positive perception of 17 respondents (42.5%). The results of the T-test obtained data p = 0.649> a = 0.05, H1 was rejected and H0 was accepted, meaning that there was no difference in family perceptions of BPJS patients and General about the response time of nurses based on triage in the emergency room. this is because the results of observations about the response time of the nurse show that the new patient is treated with the right time <5 minutes more than the slow one. This is because in the results of the questionnaire researchers have spread out, the results are more dominant with a mean value of 21.90 on the experience indicator.
Effective communication is one of the abilities that must be possessed by TB cadres (tuberculosis) in carrying out their duties. This ability must always be honed so that we need a form of re training to improve communication skills in providing counseling and training in the community. This research aims to measure the effective communication skills of TB cadres (tuberculosis) in t Re-Training Activity which is carried out for 4 days. The method used in this research is descriptive. Retrieval of data with an observation sheet in the form of a checklist designed according to seven components in effective communication. The populati was all TB cadres who participated in the Re training and a sample of 27 cadres. The results showed 59.3% had effective communication skills. Based on the criteria of effective communication on the criteria of the suitability of messages with the needs of respondents, the use of communion channels, empathy is above 81.5%, while the components of message clarity, completeness of planning and organizing messages, feedback and understanding of messages as well as the contents of messages delivered on average still not enough. The results of this research are very useful as a basis for determining the follow up of cadre re training so that cadres will be more trustworthy and able to improve their abilities in carrying out their duties. This is an open access article under the CC-BY https://aisyah.journalpress.id/index.php/jika/ Effective communication is one of the abilities that must be possessed by TB cadres (tuberculosis) in carrying out their duties. Hypertension is one of the important factors as a trigger for non-communicable diseases. Hypertension is a preventable and controllable disease that can be managed with medications and lifestyle changes. The purpose of this study was to determine perceptions of Nurse Ability to Increase Expectations and Motivation of Hypertensive patients. The type of research used is cross-national survey. The Population in this study were all nurses in hospitals in East Java who had been fully accredited. The sample amounted to 200 nurses with a simple random sampling sampling technique. The research instrument uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Perception of Nurse's Ability in Increasing Expectations and Motivation of Hypertension Patients in Hospitals in East Java is an important matter that is equal to 75.7%. This shows the importance of nurses' ability to increase motivation and expectations of patients suffering from hypertension.
