El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar el espacio adecuado para mejorar los parámetros productivos y reproductivos de la crianza de cuyes; los objetivos específicos fueron: evaluar la adaptabilidad climática, parámetros productivos y densidad adecuada para las líneas mejoradas de cuyes Perú, Inti y criollo. Se evaluaron 216 cuyes, utilizando la metodología bioclimática de temperatura, sistema de alimentación mixta y diferentes densidades de cuyes mejorados y criollos en un área de 1 m2; el estudio realizado fue de tipo aplicativo y de nivel explicativo, utilizando el diseño experimental DBCA (Diseño bloque completamente al azar); los datos producto de la recopilación de la variable peso y su relación, fueron procesados en el programa Excel, mediante el análisis de varianza (ANOVA). Concluyendo, que el cuy de la línea Perú relativamente responde mejor las 3 densidades poblacionales (5, 6 y 7 cuyes) bajo las condiciones de espacio vital de 1 m2 en la variable condiciones climatológicas; mientras los cuyes de las líneas Inti y Criollo en las mismas densidades muestran mejor desarrollo y crecimiento en relación al peso. En cuanto a cuyes de la línea Perú e Inti han demostrado incremento promedio de peso en 20 gramos y los cuyes de la línea Criolla expresaron peso de 15 gramos por semana.
La caracterización edafoclimática de los suelos es un proceso que contribuye a la planificación de las siembras con mejores perspectivas rentables, siendo el punto de partida de la actividad productiva agropecuaria. El objetivo fue generar una base de datos geoespaciales integrada de condiciones edafoclimáticas del distrito de Cacatachi, de consulta dinámica a través de mapas temáticos como de fisiografía, capacidad de uso, características físicas y químicas de suelos y de uso actual de las tierras. Para ello se empleó un software GIS utilizando información de instituciones públicas que iniciaron el proceso; asimismo, la metodología de trabajo tuvo dos etapas, a nivel de gabinete y a nivel de campo. El resultado fue la base de datos Quantum GIS (QGIS), que facilita el manejo de la información edafoclimática, con 104 mapas en detalle, cuyas representaciones espaciales exponen la caracterización de las zonas estratificadas en el proyecto, donde se hicieron las calicatas, de los cuales se hicieron los análisis químicos, físicos y biológicos de los horizontes identificados en los perfiles. La información edafoclimática generada nos aproxima a una microzonificación en detalle, que se convierte en herramienta orientadora de las siembras de cultivos, en función a las potencialidades nutricionales, fisiográficas y climáticas de los suelos, segmentados en sectores productivos.
Buscamos determinar los efectos cuantitativos del cambio climático en el calendario fenológico de floración y fructificación de siete especies forestales: Capirona, Shaina, Bolaina, Marupa, Teca, Eucalipto y Cedro rosado, durante el periodo 2013-2015. Las evaluaciones comprendieron 35 individuos observados por un periodo de 24 meses, utilizando la metodología propuesta por Fournier. Encontramos que el cambio climático ha generado efectos significativos en el adelanto del calendario fenológico de floración y fructificación en las especies Calycophyllum spruceanum y, Simarouba amara, y en el atraso en las especies Colubrina glandulosa y Guazuma crinita; además, una gran variabilidad en las fenofases de las especies de Tectona grandis y Eucaliptus glóbulos. Debido a su adaptación, aclimatación y hábitat presentaron ciclo fenológico completo, a excepción de Acrocarpus fraxinifolius. La floración y fructificación están influenciadas por la variable temperatura con rango permisible de 21.3 ºC a 33.3 ºC de acuerdo a la temperatura máxima, mínima y media del periodo establecido, y con respecto al patrón histórico 1981-2010 se registraron anomalías de 0.5 °C, 0.4 °C, y 0.2 °C, respectivamente.
