Atualmente, é indispensável conhecer o funcionamento de baterias, suas características e prever seu comportamento em aplicações práticas. Dessa forma, este artigo propõe o projeto e a implementação de um sistema automatizado para modelagem de baterias, empregando um método analítico. O modelo consiste em um circuito elétrico equivalente com uma fonte de tensão, um resistor série e um único par RC para representar as dinâmicas observadas nos dados experimentais. Estes dados experimentais são obtidos a partir de pulsos de descarga de corrente constante que revelam a dependência dos elementos do circuito equivalente elétrico com o estado de carga, estado de saúde, corrente de descarga e temperatura. Um método analítico foi proposto para a estimação destes parâmetros tanto em baterias de chumbo-ácido quanto em células de lítio-íon. Este método é de fácil implementação em um sistema automatizado e também foi possível diminuir o tempo computacional na estimação dos parâmetros em comparação com algoritmos de otimização. O modelo foi validado para células de lítio-íon e baterias de chumbo-ácido com um erro absoluto máximo menor que 74 mV e 83 mV, respectivamente.
