Structure–function relationship study in a series of organic monolithic electro-optic materials has revealed the impact of donor and bridge molecular modification, leading to material with increased EO behavior and improved thermal stability.
In this paper, a novel waveguide to strip line transition based on LTCC(Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) technology at Ka-band is presented. To improve the bandwidth and impedance matching, two major improvements are done, which includes the multilayer step-shape matching structure buried beneath the probe and the gradual-change structure used on substrate layers. According to the simulated results of HFSS, the return loss is better than I5dB and the insertion loss is less than O.3dB, over the specified frequency range from 33.3GHz to 37.4GHz. The simulated size of the transition is compact(S.4mmX Smm X O.94mm).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
