MEMORY POETIC SPACES, SMALL AND EVERYDAY:STREET ETHNOGRAPHY IN THE IMAGINARY CITY Abstract: We present urban experiences in Brazilian cities that were guided by walks in the city. Street ethnography in “common” spaces was based on photographic records in memorial, small and everyday poetic spaces, such as parks, stairs, walls, gates, swings, streets, which are symbolic for the context in which they are inserted: the street, the neighborhood and the city. We discussed how the smallness and daily life of these unique spaces build images of urban living in contemporary cities, imaginary cities explored from the daily practices of users of spaces that are within the spatialities and temporalities of the practiced spaces. Based on studies on symbolic imagination, poetic spaces, memories and memories, architectures of small and affection, we asked how the imaginary city is practiced, thought and imagined through street ethnography. Keywords: Poetic spaces. Abstract:This work aims to analyze the cinema as recognition of the social worlds that coexist in the filmic representation of affective relations in the city of Belo Horizonte -MG. It is understood here that the cinema provides a collection of images that illustrate social situations that can be considered as resonances of modernity. For the purpose of empirical analysis, we will privilege the appreciation of the feature films O Homem das Multidões (Marcelo Gomes and Cao Guimarães, 2013) and A Cidade Onde Envelheço (Marília Rocha, 2016), and discuss what the elements that are present in the narratives of these films for the understanding of the questions about solitude, affectivities, memories and identities staged in the city, from the perspective of the studies on modernity. Given this context, we conducted the debate based on the reflections on the aspects of cinema as a referential object of social practice, and of the city as a place of intensification of Fundamental matrices of modernity. Thus, the potential of cinema to represent certain social realities also contributes to the dimensioning of the questions posed in this work about living in the urban, when it allows to recognize the social worlds through the imaging device that brings together philosophical elements of the resonances of modernity.Espaços de solidão, estados de liminaridade: cidade e as ressonâncias da modernidade em A Cidade Onde Envelheço e O Homem das Multidões __________________________________________________________________________________________________________
