SUMMARY. -Current voltage curves on the platinum niicroelectrode were registered from positive to negative and negative to positive potentials. In different supporting electrolites a cathodic dissolution pattern was observed at -0,30 V in the presence of 0,l M NaOH.Lead yields two well defined anodic patterns in 0,l M NaOH running from negative to positive potentials. It was impossible by means of the known thermodynamics of the systems t o give any explanation about these phenomena.
'i'he zinc salts of phosphoric acid are of interest in the study of dental ccments. The following is a part of a more extended investigation of the reactions and equilibria involved in the manufacture and use of such plastic compounds. The phosphates of zinc, particularly the acid salts, have been very little studied. Graham describes an acid salt, ZnHP04.H20. Keintz3 Cf. Iiarkins and King, H IS JOURNAL, 41, 971 (19x9).

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
