With the development of lubricating oil industry, alkaline additives containing metal ions have become an indispensable add ingredients. Alkaline additives has greatly improved the performance of Lubricating oil, extend the service life significantly and play an important role in protecting the engine, but the excess of alkaline additives on the impact of post-processing engine will have a negative influence. In this paper, alkaline additives, impact on the performance of lubricating oil can be verified through a trial basis, and come to the actual lubricating oil using recommendations.
About 17,000 gasoline vehicles were tested by an acceleration simulation mode (ASM) inspection. The pollutant emission data is compared and analyzed in this paper. Result shows that the pass rate of vehicle ASM emission inspection fell from 90% to 63% and vehicle emission deteriorates rapidly with vehicle age when the vehicle age over 6 years. The technics and technology of vehicle engine, the different engine ECU management styles also have great effects on the vehicle emissions.
The gasoline vehicles’ on-road emission experiments were carried out with the portable emission measuring system (PEMS) during the clear time and the congestive time. Then the emission characteristics during each time period were analyzed. The experiment data show that a traffic jam increases the CO and HC emission and the peak values appear during the accelerating period. But the NOX emission is reduced due to the low engine temperature during the traffic jam.
Experiments were done to the same car with engine capacity of 1.6 liter on three typical road conditions in Shenzhen for emission characteristics of CO、HC and NOx with SEMTECH-DS manufactured by Sensors Company in USA. Through analysis on the experimental data it is indicated that emission factors with the measurement unit of g/km produced inflection points at the vehicle speed of 7.5~10 Km/h, and its variable rate is big at low speed interval and stable at high speed interval; average emission factors of CO and HC for car running in secondary city main roads is two or five times than those in city main roads; emissions of CO and HC of car at idle and low speed conditions take higher proportion.
The paper makes research on oil change period of bus in Shenzhen, and comparing tests are conducted between LNG bus and diesel engine bus with new type oil. Through oil sampling and characterizing the oil when changing reasonable oil change period is concluded for LNG and diesel engine bus.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
