Pesquisas voltadas a seleção de cultivares de feijão e adubação foliar molíbdica no estado de Alagoas ainda são escassas. Neste experimento avaliou-se o desempenho de cultivares de feijão comum sob ausência e presença de adubação foliar molíbdica no Agreste alagoano. O experimento foi conduzido entre maio e julho de 2016 no município de Arapiraca – AL. O delineamento utilizado foi em blocos casualizados, com quatro repetições, em um arranjo 5 x 2, referente as cultivares de feijão (BRS Ametista, BRS Cometa, BRS Estilo, BRS Notável e BRS Pérola) e presença e ausência da adubação foliar molíbdica. O potencial produtivo das cultivares e a interferência da adubação foliar rica em molibdênio foi verificada através de análise estatística das variáveis: produtividade (kg ha-1), número de sementes por planta, número de vagens, número de sementes por vagem e peso de sementes por planta (g). A adubação foliar molíbdica e a interação cultivares x adubação foliar molíbdica foram não significativas. As cultivares não apresentaram diferença para o número de sementes e vagens por planta. A cultivar BRS Ametista apresentou o maior peso de sementes por planta (18,17 g), por conseguinte a maior produtividade (3.750 kg ha-1), seguida da cultivar BRS Estilo (3.126 kg ha-1), ambos materiais mostraram-se como candidatos promissores sob as condições edafoclimáticas trabalhadas. As Cultivares BRS Ametista e Estilo são as mais produtivas no Agreste alagoano. O molibdênio via foliar aos 35 e 45 dias após a semeadura não é viável.

The aim of this study was to evaluate growth, production and water balance in maize, and to adjust multiple regression models for estimating production components, total biomass accumulation and grain yield under different levels of water replacement and doses of nitrogen. The experiment was conducted at the Centre for Agricultural Sciences of the Federal University of Alagoas (CECA/UFAL). The experimental design was of randomised blocks in split plots. The AG 7088 VT PRO3 maize genotype was used. The treatments consisted of irrigation depths (40, 80, 120,160 and 180% of the crop evapotranspiration - ETC) and doses of nitrogen (N) (0, 75, 150 and 225 ha-1). The following growth variables were evaluated: canopy height (CH), root collar height (RH), leaf length (LL), leaf width (LW), number of green leaves (NGR), number of dry leaves (NDL), leaf area (LA), green leaf weight (GLW) and dry leaf weight (DLW), together with the following production components: Productivity (PROD), 1000-grain weight (TGW), ear length (EL), number of rows per ear (NRE), number of grains per row (NGR) and weight of grain per ear (GWE). There was a significant effect (p<0.005) from irrigation depth (D) on the PC1 variables as a function of the ETc, with no significant effect on the other PCs. There was a significant effect (p<0.001) from the nitrogen dose (N) on PC1, with no significant effect on PC2 or PC3. There was no significant effect from the D x N interaction. The greatest leaf area (9,355 cm²), canopy height (221 cm), leaf width (10.33 cm) and weight of grain per ear (209.74 g) were obtained with the dose of 225 kg N, using complementary irrigation at 200% of the ETC. However, the highest productivity (8.57 t) is achieved with 150 kg N, with complementary irrigation at 200% of the ETC, a value 41.70% higher than the dose of 0 kg N with irrigation at 40% of the ETC. The multiple regression model showed a significant fit to the variables under analysis and is an important tool to aid in decisions on maize crop management.

O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados com cinco repetições e seis cultivares de soja (M 6210, M 6410, BMX-Potência, AS 3730, M 8349 e BRS-9383). Foram analisadas:  altura de inserção da primeira vagem (AIPV, cm), número de vagens por planta (NVP, Unid.), massa de mil grãos (MMG, g), índice de colheita (IC), produtividade de água (PA, kg m-3) e rendimento de grãos (RG, kg ha-1). Nos cultivos irrigados, os componentes de produção variaram: AIPV de 13 a 19 cm; NVP de 43 a 118 Unid.; MMG de 147 a 207 g; IC de 17 a 45; PA de 0,80 a 1,28 kg m-3 e RG de 3.871 a 6.198 kg ha-1. Enquanto em sequeiro, a AIPV variou de 5,85 a 16,80 cm; o NVP de 28 a 72 Unid.; a MMG de 83 a 176 g; a PA de 0,55 a 0,86 kg m-3 e o RG de 2.328 a 3.600 kg ha-1. Somente o IC foi maior nos cultivos em sequeiro, variando de 16,80 a 52. The experimental design was randomized blocks with five replications and six soybean cultivars (M 6210, M 6410, BMX-Potência, AS 3730, M 8349, and BRS-9383). The height of the first pod insertion (HFPI, cm), number of pods per plant (NPP, Units), thousand grain mass (TGM, g), harvest index (HI), water productivity (WP, kg m-3), and grain yield (GY, kg ha-1) were analyzed. In irrigated crops, the production components varied HFPI from 13 to 19 cm; NPP from 43 to 118 units; TGM from 147 to 207 g; HI from 17 to 45; WP from 0.80 to 1.28 kg m-3, and GY from 3,871 to 6,198 kg ha-1. While in rainfed conditions, the HFPI ranged from 5.85 to 16.80 cm; NPP from 28 to 72 units; TGM from 83 to 176 g; WP from 0.55 to 0.86 kg m-3, and GY from 2,328 to 3,600 kg ha-1. Only the HI was higher in rainfed crops, ranging from 16.80 to 52. Objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar o ajuste de modelos semiempíricos de crescimento e a produtividade de cultivares de soja submetida a condições de irrigação e sequeiro no Estado de Alagoas. Foram conduzidos dois experimentos, o primeiro durante a estação seca de 14/11/2018 a 03/04/19 (140 dias), e o segundo na estação chuvosa de 20/06/19 a 28/10/2019 (130 dias) na região dos Tabuleiros Costeiros de Alagoas. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados e os tratamentos foram seis cultivares com diferentes grupos de maturação e hábitos de crescimento (M 6210, M 6410, BMX-Potência, AS 3730, M 8349 e BRS-9383). Foram avaliadas a altura das plantas, matéria seca e índice de área foliar (LAI). Os modelos logísticos, sigmoidal e pic log normal PHresentaram ajustes estatísticos significativos (p<0,05) para as variáveis de crescimento e coeficientes de determinação ajustado (R2ajs) máximo de 0,994 e 0,990, respectivamente. Os valores observados e estimados pelos modelos PHresentaram alta associação pelos índices de Pearson (r), Willmott (d) e baixo Erro Padrão de Estimativa (EPE). A cultivar BRS-9383 teve as maiores taxas de crescimento observados e estimados. Em condições de irrigação, os valores de altura de plantas máxima foram 98,45 e 110,35 cm, matéria seca máxima de 65,88 e 78,70 g e o LAI máximo de 7,68 e 7,60. Em sequeiro, a altura de plantas máxima foi 62,91 e 72,85 cm, matéria seca máxima de 40,0 e 44,91 g e o LAI máximo de 6,34 e 6,26. As maiores produtividades agrícola sob irrigação, foram de 6,19 e 5,90 Mg ha-1 nas cultivares AS 3730 e M 8349. Em sequeiro sobressaíram-se as cultivares M 6410 e M 8349 com produtividade de grãos de 3,60 e 3,30 Mg ha-1. Dessa forma, os modelos de crescimento podem ser utilizados para auxiliar a análise de crescimento em função dos dias após a semeadura.

Drought stress is the main limiting factor for the yield of soybean crop in the world.Alternatives to minimize the impacts of water deficit on plants involve the application of plant bioregulators, among which Brassinosteroids stand out. In this study, nodulated soybean plants were used to investigate the ability of the 24-epibrassinolide (EBR) bioregulator to reduce the damage caused to physiological mechanisms, growth and yield, after application in the vegetative stage of soybean plants, subjected to drought stress and rehydration. Application of EBR in plants subjected to drought stress promoted better performance in the rates of transpiration, photosynthesis and instantaneous water use efficiency compared to plants without EBR. The lowest reductions in relative water content and leaf water potential were recorded in stressed soybean plants treated with EBR. Plants under drought stress treated with EBR showed increase in the effective photochemical efficiency of PSII. In addition, soybean plants that received EBR application showed lower oxidative damage to cell membranes. The positive effect of EBR remained after soybean rehydration. Plants treated with EBR showed better recovery with greater plant height, leaf area, lower number of aborted grains, in addition to an increase in stem (37.2%), root (62.8%), leaf (51.8%) dry matter and 1000 seed weight (33%) compared to plants without EBR. This information suggests that EBR not only mitigated the deleterious effect of drought stress but also improved plant growth and yield post-stress.
