The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on the performance of hotel employees in Batam City with organizational commitment as an intervening variable. Respondents used in this study were employees of four-star hotels in Batam City with a total of 213 respondents. Data analysis method uses multiple linear data analysis and using SEM Amos program. The results of the study conclude that 1. Organizational culture has a significant effect on the performance of four-star hotel employees in Batam City, the better the organizational culture can provide a greater impact on improving the performance of four-star hotel employees in Batam City. 2. Organizational culture has a significant effect on the organizational commitment of four-star hotels in Batam City, the better the organizational culture, the stronger the organizational commitment of employees. 3 OCB affects the organizational commitment of four-star hotels in Batam City, the better the OCB behavior of employees, the stronger organizational commitment employee. 4 OCB affects the performance of employees of four-star hotels in Batam City, the better the behavior of OCB employees, the higher the performance. 5. Compelling organizational commitment to the performance of four-star hotel employees in Batam City, the better organizational commitment, the better the performance of four-star hotel employees in Batam City
High development in technology makes every company keeps making some efforts to improve the product or service that will be offered to the market. The pandemic Covid-19 causes some changes of people's behavior especially in making purchasing decisions. The OVO application is one of the applications that is widely used by most consumers when their movements are limited. The main focus in this study is to analyze the direct and indirect effects of the easiness of using the application and price discount on purchasing decisions through customer satisfaction. The population in this study were 100 active students of STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. Collecting data was by using a questionnaire. The results show that the easiness of using the application and price discount directly affect customer satisfaction in using OVO. Furthermore, the easiness of using the application and price discount indirectly have a significant effect on purchasing decisions through customer satisfaction in using OVO application.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kompetensi, motivasi dan komunikasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di rumah sakit swasta di Kota Batam. Studi ini menggunakan kuesioner disalurkan kepada karyawan rumah sakit swasta di Kota Batam dengan kuesioner 250 Responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis tingkat individu. Objek penelitian adalah karyawan rumah sakit swasta di Kota Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa tes regresi linear yang meliputi validitas, keandalan, normalitas, dan tes persegi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator penelitian menunjukkan hasil validitas, yang berarti dapat menunjukkan ke tahap berikutnya, dan juga hasil tes keandalan menyimpulkan bahwa semua data dikumpulkan dan diproses dapat diandalkan. Koefisien penentuan (R2) adalah 0,840, yang berarti bahwa variabel kinerja dapat melayani gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi dan variabel komunikasi sebesar 84%, sedangkan sisanya adalah 16%, bukti berdasarkan faktor tidak hadir dalam penelitian ini.
This study aims to see the effect of competence, discipline and motivation on the performance of cargo company employees in Batam City. This study uses a questionnaire distributed to employees of cargo companies in Batam City with a questionnaire of 113 respondents. This research uses individual level analysis. The object of research is the employee of the cargo company Batam City. This study uses multiple linear regression test which includes validity, reliability, normality, and r-square tests. The results showed that the results of the validity test showed that all indicators showed validity results that could lead to the next stage, and also the reliability results concluded that all the data collected and reliable. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.870, which means that the performance variable can be explained by the competence, discipline and motivation variables of 87%, while the remaining 13%. % is another factor outside the variables studied
This study aims to determine the effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and motivation on employee performance at post office service companies in Batam City. This study used primary data through questionnaires which were distributed to post office service company employees in Batam City. Questionnaires were distributed to a total of 120 respondents. Based on the results of the questionnaire distribution, it is known that the results of the validity test show that all indicators in the OCB variable statement and all indicators in the motivational variable statement show valid results, this means that the validity test level of all data is valid and can be continued to the reliability test stage. The reliability test means that the OCB variable, motivational variable and employee performance variable also show reliable results. The results of the normality test show that all data processing results show normal results. The results of the test and t test and the results of the f test can be said that OCB and motivation have a significant effect on the performance of post office delivery service company employees in Batam City. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.810, meaning that employee performance variables can be explained by OCB and motivation variables by 81% while 19% are other variables outside the study.
