Kata kunci : Ketamakan, mengumpulkan harta, kaya di hadapan Allah Abstract Greed for wealth can be owned by anyone, including Christians. But, greed can shift Christians’ focus to worldly things, like finding a lot of wealth and justifying any means to be rich. In Luke's Gospel, Jesus asserts against the dangers of greed can lead people to God’s destruction. The Bible does not forbid believers to be rich — rich before God, what He wills. Wealth is a gift God has given to His people. Jesus’ parable taught how to manage wealth for glory of God, is more pleasurable than accumulating wealth and enjoying it alone. Keywords: greedy, collect treasure, rich before God
No one can be justified before God for doing good deeds. No matter how good a man is, if he does not believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, he will not be saved from the wrath of God to come. There is no human being who is right before God, and no sinful man can save himself in any way. The only way out is in the way that God has given to the problem of all sinners, by sending Jesus Christ to the world to die for sinners. "And for this he came, so that every man believed in him, who was sent by God" (John 6:29). The Bible teaches that salvation is only obtained because of faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the object of that faith. This salvation is known as the statement "Justified by faith. Paul explained this teaching in each of his writings. This teaching of justification by faith has been repeatedly denied by some people who disagree with Paul's opinion. The history of the church from the early centuries to the present has proven the variety of understandings that have emerged from this teaching, but one important thing is that sinful humans are justified by their faith in Jesus Christ before God.Keywords: Paul;history; justified by faith.
Salvation in Jesus Christ is only obtained by sinners through faith. Without faith in Jesus Christ, no one will be saved. God only justifies those who believe in Jesus Christ, so they will not receive God's wrath. By inductive method, this article explores the truth of apostle Paul's statement in Romans 5:18-19; that disobedience of first Adam made all men being sinful and cursed. On the other hand, the Jesus Christ's obedience as the second / last Adam has made sinful men being right before God and have hope for eternal life. Paul gives a comparison between Adam and Christbetween the first Adam and the last Adam. The first Adam has caused men (his descendants) commit to sin, but the second/last Adam has finally provided a way out of God's punishment and wrath. This is a great grace of God.
The purpose of this research is to explore the meaning of the word (koinonia: fellowship) which is found in 1 Corinthians 1:9. In Paul's letter, it is explained about the call as believers to share in fellowship with Jesus Christ. God calls believers to fellowship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God, which is God's ultimate goal. This fellowship of believers parallels the fellowship of the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. This fellowship is a supernatural (spiritual) interaction between the person of God and His church on earth which is the theological implication of the concept of the Triune God. Using the hermeneutic method, the writer finds that Paul's explanation regarding (koinonia: fellowship) is the main basis for providing solutions to the problem of division that occurred in the Corinthian church. This is also an example for the congregation today in finding the best solution for the problem of division that occurs.
