Hadamengou large gold deposit is located in Baotou city, Inner Mongolia, and about 30 km to the Northwest from Baotou. The tectonic setting lies in southern margin of Wulashan anticlinorium of Yinshan uplift on the north margin of North China Craton. The gold vein orebodies mainly lies in the metamorphic rocks of Neoarchaeozoic Wulashan Group, and strictly controlled by faults, distributed spatially along the faults in groups and belts ( Fig.1). Over 70 strips ore veins have been found in the orefield and cumulative explorated gold resource reserves are more than 100t. Main ore types include gold-bearing quartz vein type, gold-bearing quartz-potassic feldspar vein type, gold-bearing altered rock type.
Sulfur Isotope CompositionIn general, the sulfur isotopes of sulfides Hadamengou mineralization area are rich in light sulfur, δ 34 S between -21.7‰ and 5.4‰, the change range is 27.1‰, average value is -10.6‰. Among them, Pyrite δ 34 S vary from -18.37‰ to -0.2‰, the change range is 18.35‰, average value is -9.95‰; Galena δ 34 S vary from -18.37‰ to -0.2‰, the change range is 18.35‰, average value is -10.94‰; chalcopyrite δ 34 S vary from -14.3‰ to -4.4‰, the change range is 18.7‰, average value is -8.34‰. Sulfur isotope composition histogram show that δ 34 S mainly concentrated on the two main distribution ranges of -17‰~-8‰,-7‰~-3‰, respectively. The sulfur isotopes of sulfides Liubagou mineralization area δ 34 S vary
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
