0biges Thema ist in der Literatur bisher nur wenig gestrei:ft worden, obwohl h~ufig KriminMfs den AnlaB dazu geben k6nnten: Wie oft is~ es vorgekommen, dab eine erschossene Person, mit Schiissen dutch die Kleidung, vom Tater verscharrt oder ins Wasser geworfen wurd% oder da~ die Leiche nur ]~ngere Zeit unaufgefunden blieb un4 somit jeglicher Witterung preisgegeben war. Wie hitufig ist versucht worden~ durch Waschen, Si~ubern mit chemischen Mitteln, die SchuBspuren zu beseitigen. So lieBe sich noch eine ganze Reihe ahnlicher Fi~lle finden; die aufgezahlten m6gen jedoeh schon geniigen, um zu zeigen, wie wichtig es nun ist, wenn in den angefiihrten Beispielen festgestellt werden so]], ob ein Fern-oder ein NahschuB vorgelegen hat, und aus welcher Entfernung dieser ungef~thr abgegeben wurde, denn es wird in solchen F~tl]en wahrscheinlich sein, dM~ die verschiedenen Einflfisse, wie Wasser, Erde, Witterung u. a. eine Einwirkung auf die besehossenen Kleidungsstiicke ausgeiibt haben.In einer hier am Institut bearbeiteten Mordsache wurde diese Frage akut. Es h~ndelte sich um eine Leiche, die mit Schul~verletzungen in einem Teiche gefunden wurde. Bei der Bearbeitung des Falles war es yon groBer Wichtigkeit, die ungefahre SchuBentfernung zu bestimmen. An dem asservierten Kleidungsstiick, einem schmutziggrauen ehemMigea Mfliti~runiformr ock, waren m~kroskopiseh keine NahsehuBzeichen erkennbar. Bei angestellten SchieBversuehen auf denselben Stoff ergab sich nun, dab makroskopisch samtliehe NahschuBspuren, die durch Schiisse mi~ einer automatischen Repetierpistole, Deutsche Werke, System Ortgies, Ka]. 6,35 ram, mit dazugehSriger Munition aus verschiedenen Entfernungen yon 2--10 cm entstanden, vollstandig verschwunden waren, als die betreffellden Stiicke 8 Tage in schmutzigem Wasser verblieben.
