En el Perú, cerca de 1 millón de adolescentes viven en zonas rurales, quienes afrontan diferentes problemas tanto económicos, sociales como educativos (INEI, 2017). Ante ello, son pocos los estudios que relacionan el bienestar subjetivo de estos adolescentes y su educación en las escuelas rurales. En ese sentido, el objetivo de este estudio fue analizar los factores que promueven el bienestar subjetivo en adolescentes de escuelas rurales del Perú. Además, se realizó otro análisis para observar el efecto moderador de la relación a nivel individual (apoyo de un adulto y sentido de pertinencia entre pares) con el clima y violencia escolar sobre el bienestar subjetivo de los adolescentes de zonas rurales. La muestra estuvo constituida por 2574 estudiantes de los tres modelos del servicio educativo rural (secundaria tutorial, alternancia y residencial) de 12 a 18 años (M = 14.64). Los resultados mostraron que los estudiantes de los tres modelos educativos experimentan altos niveles de bienestar (<98 %), y que modelo de secundaria tutorial reporta mayor nivel de índice. Finalmente, en relación con los efectos de la violencia escolar sobre el bienestar subjetivo de los adolescentes rurales, se concluyó que el bullying afecta significativamente el bienestar subjetivo de estos en los tres modelos educativos rurales, mientras que los resultados del efecto moderador demostraron que tanto el bullying y el apoyo de pares generan un efecto determinante sobre el bienestar del estudiante con su vida a nivel general.
