Introdução: A Fibromialgia (SFM) é definida como uma síndrome clínica que se caracteriza por dor difusa pelo corpo todo. Objetivo: avaliar os efeitos da cinesioterapia no solo e da hidrocinesioterapia na melhora da dor, fadiga muscular, e capacidade funcional desses pacientes. Métodos: É um estudo prospectivo cegado, onde foram avaliadas 17 pacientes do sexo feminino com SFM, e divididas em dois grupos: grupo I (cinesioterapia), e grupo II (hidrocinesioterapia). Avaliados através da EVA, escala de Chalder e teste de caminhada de seis minutos. Resultados: Na avaliação da dor, a média da pré e pós reabilitação para Gi e GII foram 7,57±1,38 e 3,83±1,34 6,9±1,57 e 4,33±1,88 respectivamente. Quanto à capacidade funcional pré e pós reabilitação do GI foi 492,86±50,51 e 498,67±71,47. Para GII foi 460,30±46,09 546,17±56,16. Em relação a fadiga global pré pós reabilitação GI foi 3,5±0,5 e 1±1,5 do GII foi 3,5±0,5, e 2,5±0,95. Conclusão: Ambas as abordagens são eficazes no tratamento da SFM, porém, a cinesioterapia no solo foi mais eficaz na redução da dor e da fadiga. A melhora da capacidade funcional esteve mais relacionada a hidrocinesioterapia.
Introdução: A síndrome da fibromialgia (SFM) é considerada uma doença reumatológica caracterizada por dor musculoesquelética difusa e crônica. Assim, o exercício físico é um fator importante na melhora da qualidade de vida (QV) desses pacientes. Objetivo: Analisar a capacidade funcional, melhora do sono e da QV, em pacientes portadores de SFM que foram submetidos a tratamentos como hidroterapia convencional, cinesioterapia motora em solo e hidrocinesioterapia. Metodologia: Foram avaliados 20 pacientes do sexo feminino com diagnostico SFM, faixa etária entre 18 a 75 anos. Para a seleção desses pacientes, foi realizado por uma avaliação pré e pós reabilitação seguida de 3 questionários: Questionário sobre Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ), Índice da Qualidade do Sono de Pittsburgh (IQSP) e Fibromyagia Impact Questionaire (FIQ), que avalia QV. Os pacientes foram distribuídos em três grupos. O Grupo I formado por 8 pacientes, que realizaram tratamento na hidroterapia convencional; O Grupo II foi formado por 6 pacientes, que realizaram tratamento de cinesioterapia motora em solo; O Grupo III formado por 6 pacientes e realizaram tratamento por meio da hidrocinesioterapia. Cada grupo realizou 10 seções de cada tratamento. Resultados: Observou-se nesse estudo que após a intervenção, houve melhora no grupo I (p>0,05), (p>0,001) avaliado pelo QIF, grupo II observou melhora (p>0,05), (p>0,001) como a capacidade funcional, bem estar, cansaço matinal, rigidez, ansiedade e depressão; Grupo III foi observado melhora significativa no IQSP (p>0,05), (p>0,001). Por outro lado, o grupo II apresentou melhora (p>0,05), no distúrbio do sono. Os resultados obtidos do HAQ do grupo I não foi observado significantes; Já o grupo II apresentou melhora (p>0,001) Conclusão: Os efeitos de ambos tratamentos são eficazes, no entanto o grupo de Cinesioterapia motora em solo se destacou na melhora do sono, já a hidrocinesioterapia apresentou melhora estatisticamente significante maior quando comparado aos outros dois grupos para melhora da qualidade de vida. Entretanto ambos tiveram melhora da capacidade funcional.
