This research was a classroom action research which was conducted intwo cycles, each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data used was quantitative data on student observation sheet instruments. The Results of the study which were obtained from the first cycle showed about the students’ thinking skills and scientific works. They were categorized as excellent 18.18%, good 22.73%, enough 52.27%, and sufficiently less 6.82%. As for the scientific attitude with a very active category of 11.36%, 43.18% and less active 45.45%. It has not reached indicators of success, so it was necessary to cycle II. Cycle II demonstrated the excellent category 38.63%, 36.36% good, good enough18.18% and less 6.81%. While the scientific attitude in the cycle II was an active attitude 29.54%, active 54.54%, inactive 15.91%. These results show an increase from the cycle I to cycle II. The conclusion of this study were: 1) learning the basic concepts of science with scientific inquiry in students can be conducible applied.2) Learning the basic concepts of science with scientific inquiry can improve thinking ability and scientific work and students’ scientific attitude. 3) Learning the basic concepts of science with scientific inquiry be able to explore and develop student creativity in designing simple experiments which can be applied in primary schools.
Kabupaten pacitan memiliki komoditas flora laut yang potensial. Salah satunya adalah E. acoroides. Pemanfaatan E. acoroides sebagai sumber bahan kimia dan obat-obatan membutuhkan pengolahan yang tepat sehingga mampu tahan dalam waktu yang lama. Salah satu proses yang biasa diberikan adalah proses pemanasan untuk memperlambat proses kimia dan biologi pada bahan, sehingga bahan menjadi tahan lama. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen.Tahapan penelitian meliputi pengambilan dan preparasi E. acoroides, pembuatan serbuk seresah E. acoroides, analisa kualitas serbuk seresah E. acoroides yang meliputi analisa kadar air, kadar abu, kadar lemak, dan kadar pati. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah proses pengeringan dilakukan dengan 2 cara yaitu menggunakan oven dan sinar matahari. Proses pengeringan menggunakan oven yang berlangsung pada suhu yang tinggi menyebabkan terjadinya case hardening, yaitu bagian permukaan bahan pangan sudah kering sekali bahkan mengeras sedangkan bagian dalamnya masih basah. Kualitas kelayakan hasil produksi serbuk seresah lamun dengan metode pengeringan sinar matahari kadar air 14,76%, kadar abu 18,83%, kadar pati 9,88% dan kadar lemak 0,54%. Pengeringan menggunakan oven kadar airnya 23,66%, kadar abu 19,39%, kadar pati 8,73% dan kadar lemak 0,74%.
This study aims to assess the diversity and degree of grouping of several types of orchids in Indonesia. Laboratory work was carried out at the Laboratory of the Center for Horticulture and Tropical Studies IPB by analyzing the variability of orchids using RAPD. Plant material is taken from the orchid collection at the Bogor Botanical Gardens. The relationship between 9 orchids was analyzed using binary phenotype data and DNA band patterns as assessed by amplification of 2 random RAPD primers. The cluster analysis was carried out under the NTSYSpc version 2.02 program and the UPGMA SimQual function. The results showed genetic diversity of the genus Phaius and Dendrobium. Based on primers OPA7 and OPA9 with a similarity coefficient of 0.4 divided into 4 groups. Group I consisted of Phaius tankervilliae, Phaius montanus and Phaius callosus. Group II consisted of Dendrobium mirbelianum, Dendrobium lamellatum, Dendrobium liniale and Dendrobium biggibum. Group III consists of Dendrobium anosmum. Group IV consisted of Phaius ambionensis. The conclusion of this study is that there are 4 groups from the genus Phaius and Dendrobium based on the genetic marker RAPD.
<p>Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Bio <em>Pop-Up Book</em> terintegrasi SETS pada materi daur Biogeokimia. Hal ini karena pada materi ini diperlukan sebuah media yang nyata sehingga peserta didik dapat membayangkannya.<em> </em>Sehingga dalam proses pembelajarannya peserta didik dapat memunculkan kemampuan intelektual dalam memecahkan suatu masalah. Selaras dengan ilmu sain, lingkungan, teknologi,dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Metode penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yang meliputi analisis <em>(Analysis),</em><em> </em>desain <em>(Design),</em> pengembangan <em>(Development)</em>, implementasi <em>(Implementation),</em> dan evaluasi <em>(Evaluation). </em>Data diperoleh dengan validasi ahli materi dan ahli media pembelajaran. Hasil dari validasi ahli materi di peroleh 87% termasuk kualifikasi sangat baik dengan dan hasil validasi ahli media pembelajaran di peroleh 83,57% termasuk kualifikasi sangat baik dengan keterangan tidak revisi/valid. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini layak untuk di gunakan pada proses pembelajaran.</p>
Research activities have been studied extensively to improve the quality of learning, especially in higher education. This research aims to explore the mastery of the term of research ( TR or IR ) and research skills (RS or KR) of toward of grade point average (GPA or IPK). This research uses a quantitative approach to the object of students in natural science education program a number of 67 people who follow biotechnology courses academic year 2017/2018. Data collection with tests and aggregation of documentation. Data analysis technique is done by quantitative descriptive analysis. The decision indicates that the exact number of IR is 66.0 (easy category) and KS is 65.8 (short category). The result of correlation analysis shows 𝐹𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡 = 6,147˃ 3,140 = 𝐹𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 = (0,05;2;64) or in other words there a relationship of IR and KR collectively to GPA. This study concludes that there is a significant correlation between IR and KR guards in the same period as the GPA. Based on the investigation, it is expected to provide benefits as one of the considerations for the selection and determination of learning mods related to learning. It is expected to be useful as a consideration for the selection and determination of study-related modes for improvement.
