Background: With current wide range of scientific research regarding the benefits of antioxidants, many has tried to invent new sources of this compound. The use of plant-based source for antioxidants recently become more and more popular, and one of these plants is Binahong (Anredera cordifolia). The leaves of these plant had been analyzed before to contain antioxidant compound. Objective: This research aimed to test, based on previous claim of antioxidant activity of Binahong (Anredera cordifolia) leaves. Methods: The lotion used was formulated using Tween 60 and Span 60 as its emulgator. After test, it was determined that the emulsion type is water in oil (w/o). Before Binahong Leaves extract were incorporated, the lotion was tested for physical stability including organoleptics, emulsion type, pH determination, homogeneity, and viscosity. Results: The analysis for antioxidant activity by DPPH method of Binahong leaves extract with various concentrations of 12,5 μg/mL, 25 μg/mL, 50 μg/mL, 100 μg/mL, 200 μg/mL, 400 μg/mL, yield a value of IC50 822.22 µg/mL (mild antioxidant activity level). This result corroborates previous findings with the same result. Meanwhile, the lotion containing Binahong leaves extract with various concentrations of 25 μg/mL, 50 μg/mL, 100 μg/mL, 200 μg/mL, 400 μg/mL, 800 μg/mL were analyzed with same method and yield a value of IC50 27041.50 µg/mL. Conclusion: The result proved there was a further loss of antioxidant activity after the extract were incorporated into lotion. Traditional medicine in Indonesia has a very large role in public health services in Indonesia, so that traditional medicine has the potential to be developed. Indonesia is rich in medicinal plants, which are still not used optimally for health. This study aims to identify saponin compounds in the methanol extract of papaya leaves (Carica papaya Linn) using the Thin Layer Chromatography method. Papaya leaves (Carica papaya Linn) were extracted by maceration using methanol. Analysis of saponin compounds was carried out using the Thin Layer Chromatography method. From the results of the study, it was found that there were saponin compounds in papaya leaves (Carica papaya Linn) with an Rf value of 0.63.
Obat tradisional yang terdapat di Indonesia sangat berperan besar dalam pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat sehingga potensi obat atau tanaman ini layak dikembangkan. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui kadar saponin yang terdapat pada ekstrak daun pepaya (Caricca papaya Linn) dibeberapa wilayah kota Baubau menggunakan metode gravimetri. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian eksperimen (experimental research) laboratorium menggunakan metode gabungan yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sampel daun pepaya (Caricca papaya Linn) diambil di daerah Kecamatan Betoambari, Murhum dan Wolio Kota Baubau. Dalam prosedur kerja dapat dilakukan dengan pengolahan sampel, pembuatan ekstrak, identifikasi saponin melalui uji busa dan uji warna serta penetapan kadar saponin secara gravimetri. Hipotetis dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya kadar saponin yang terdapat pada ekstrak daun papaya (Caricca papaya Linn). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan sangat berpengaruh pada kadar ekstrak daun pepaya (Caricca papaya Linn) dan positif terdapat saponin. Kadar saponin Kecamatan Betoambari sebesar 1,34%, Kecamatan Murhum sebesar 1,36% dan Kecamatan Wolio sebesar 1,06%. Disarankan pada penelitian selanjutnya untuk menggunakan berbagai macam metode sehingga dapat dibandingkan dalam penggunaan metode penelitian. The aim of this study was to determine the levels of saponins found in papaya leaf extract (Carica papaya Linn) in several areas of Baubau city using the gravimetric method. The type of research used is a laboratory experimental research design using a combination of qualitative and quantative methods. Papaya leaf samples (Carica papaya Linn) were taken from the Betoambari, Murhum and Wolio distric, Baubau city. In the work procedure, it can be done by processing samples, making extrac, identifying saponins trhough foam tests and determining the levels of saponins by gravimetry. The hypothesis in thus study is the presence of saponins levels found in papaya leaf extract (Carica papaya Linn). Research shows that envirometal conditions greatly affect the levels of papaya leaf extract (Carica papaya Linn) and are positife for saponins. The saponins content of Betoambari district was 1,34%, Murhum district was 1,36%, and Wolio district was 1,06%. It is recommended for further research to use various methods so that they can be compared in the use of research methods.
Gagal jantung merupakan penyakit kedua tertinggi setelah infark miokard akut. Gagal jantung memerlukan biaya yang sangat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pola pengobatan, biaya rata-rata pasien, faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap biaya serta mengetahui kesesuaian tarif biaya riil dengan pembiayaan kesehatan berdasarkan INA-CBG’s.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian menurut perspektif rumah sakit. Dalam penelitian ini data diambil secara retrospektif dan data kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pasien gagal jantung yang menjalani rawat inap di RSUD kabupaten Karanganyar tahun 2011-2012. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji deskriptif untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien, komplikasi, lama perawatan, gambaran pola pengobatan, dan biaya rata-rata. Uji korelasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap biaya pengobatan pasien gagal jantung dan uji one sample t-test untuk mengetahui kesesuaian biaya riil dengan biaya kesehatan berdasarkan biaya INA-CBG’s. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran pola pengobatan yang paling banyak yaitu digoksin sebanyak 21 (20,79%) ISDN sebanyak 16 (15,84%) dan captopril 15 (14,85%). Rata-rata biaya riil pengobatan gagal jantung di RSUD Kabupaten Karanganyar tahun 2011-2012 untuk stage B pada pasien umum Rp 1.460.012,00 pasien jamkesmas Rp 929.325,55 dan pasien jamkesda 1.305.095,33 .untuk stage C pada pasien umum Rp. 1.193.882,71, jamkesmas Rp.1.065.896,64 dan jamkesda Rp.1.137.514,69.Faktor yang mempengaruhi biaya pengobatan gagal jantung adalah lama rawat (p<0,05),dan comorbid(p<0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata biaya rill pengobatan gagal jantung tanpa dan dengan comorbid lebih rendah dari biaya paket INA-CBGs (p= 0,000).Kata kunci: gagal jantung, analisis, biaya riil, rawat inap
