This paper presents a brief review on present developments in wearable devices and their importance in healthcare networks. The state-of-the-art system architecture on wearable healthcare devices and their design techniques are reviewed and becomes an essential step towards developing a smart device for various biomedical applications which includes diseases classifications and detection, analyzing nature of the bio signals, vital parameters measurement, and e-health monitoring through noninvasive method. From the review on latest published research papers on medical wearable device and bio signal analysis, it can be concluded that it is more important and very essential to design and develop a smart wearable device in healthcare environment for quality signal acquisition and e-health monitoring which leads to effective measures of multiparameter extractions. This will help the medical practitioners to understand the nature of patient health condition easily by visualizing a quality signal by smart wearable devices.
This article describes how physiological signal monitoring plays an important role in identifying the health condition of heart. In recent years, online monitoring and processing of biomedical signals play a major role in accurate clinical diagnosis. Therefore, there is a requirement for the developing of online monitoring systems that will be helpful for physicians to avoid mistakes. This article focuses on the method for real time acquisition of an ECG and PPG signal and it's processing and monitoring for tele-health applications. This article also presents the real time peak detection of ECG and PPG for vital parameters measurement. The implementation and design of the proposed wireless monitoring system can be done using a graphical programming environment that utilizes less power and a minimized area with reasonable speed. The advantages of the proposed work are very simple, low cost, easy integration with programming environment and continuous monitoring of physiological signals.

The paper presents reliable and quality maintenance of intravenous fluid level, pulse rate and respiration rate measurement system in healthcare networks. Implementing information and communication technology becomes essential to monitor an elderly patient’s health conditions in the hospital environment. In this paper, a continuous monitoring system is being developed to monitor the level of the intravenous fluid, pulse rate and respiration rate during pandemic situations with an alarm indication. The integration of pressure sensor, Strain gauge sensor, PPG sensor, and Piezo sensor with low-cost microcontroller provides a reliable and quality maintenance of an intravenous fluid level. Also, it gives an accurate measurement of pulse rate and respiration rate. Advanced signal processing tools have been used in this paper for processing and feature extraction. The hardware implementation of the proposed wireless monitoring system is done using a microcontroller programming environment that consumes meager power and provides reliable monitoring.
