Setzt man zu einer BlutlSsung eine LSsung yon a-Naphthol und yon Wasserstoffsuperoxyd, so tritt eine dunkelviolette Farbung ein.Der Ausfal] der Reaktion ist abhi~ngig yon der Konzentration d_~r ginzelnen L5sungen.Die BlutlSsung stellt man sich her, indem man einen Teil frisehentnommenen Blutes in 50 Teilen destilliertem Wasser oder einen Teil roter Blutk5rperchen in 100 Teilen Wasser 15st. Auszfige yon Blutflecken k5nnen colorimetrisch eingestellt werden.Eine farblose und anni~hernd konstante NaphthollSsung erhi~lt man, wenn man einen gehi~uften TeelSffel yon c~-Naphthol in einen Liter physiologischer KochsalzlSsung bringt und schtittelt. Naeh 3 Stunden ist die LSsung ges~ttigt. Durch die Anwesenheit des Elektrolyten wird die allmi~hlich durch Oxydation sieh bildende violette Farbshure ausgeflockt, und die LSsung ist nach dem Filtrieren stets klar. Die Vv~asserstoffsuperoxydlSsung stellt man sich her, indem man einen Tell der 30proz. Merekschen PerhydrollSsung mit 29 Teilen destiUiertem Wasser verdtinnt. (1%).
Konzentration der Blutl6sung.Gibt man in Wassermann-Gl~schen je 1 ccm der NaphthollSsung, 1 ccm der 10fach verdtinnten PerhydrollSsung (1 ~ und auf 1 ccm mit Wasser aufgefiillt yon 0,1 bis 1,0 steigende Mengen einer LSsung yon HammelblutkSrperchen (ein Teil gewaschene HammelblutkSrperchen -~ 99 Teile destitliertes Wasser), so erh~lt man eine vSllig gesetzm~ig abfallende Farbreaktion, die bei den st~rkeren Blutkonzentrationen mit einer schwarzlichen Ausflockung verbunden ist. Die Reaktion ist bei 0,1-Blur sehr schwach und nimmt allm~hlich an St~rke zu.
