Der Warmedurchgang durch ein Rippenrohr setzt sich, wenn man von dem bekannt angenommenen Warmeiibergang an der Rohrinnenwand absieht, aus zwei verschiedenen Teilvorgangen zusammen. Der iibertragbare Warmestrom wird durch die WBrmeleitung in der Rohrwand und vor allem in der Rippe bestimmt, ferner ist dafiir auch der W a r m e u b e r g a n g an der Rohr-und Rippenoberflache maRgebend.
Mit Hilfe einer neuartigen photometrischen Meßmethode kann die Verteilung des örtlichen Stoffüberganges an zwangsumströmten Körpern ermittelt werden. Strömungsmedium ist Luft, Ammoniak als übergehender Stoff wird an der Oberfläche der Körper absorbiert und chemisch gebunden. Derartige Messungen erlauben unter der Voraussetzung der Analogie von Wärme‐ und Stoffübertragung gleichzeitig Aussagen über die Verteilung des Wärmeüberganges. Die Untersuchung wurde an querangeströmten Kreiszylindern unterschiedlichen Durchmessers ausgeführt. Die Methode gestattet es, mit relativ einfachen Mitteln örtliche Stoffübergangszahlen innerhalb eines Streubereiches in der Größenordnung von ±5% zu bestimmen.
Es wird uber eine Untersuchung der nichtisothermen E'estbett-Adsorption am System Wasserdampf/Silicagel rnit Luft als Triigergas berichtet. Ziel dieser Untersuchung war die elementared. h. die von grundlegenden Stoff-, Gleichgewichts-und Kinetikdaten ausgehende -Berechnung des technischen Adsorbers. Diese Arbeit steht damit in einer Reihe von Veroffentlichungen mit derselben Thematik, die sich vor allem in der mathematischen Formulierung der Adsorptionskinetik unterscheiden. Die Transportwiderstiinde konnen vereinfachend in einem einzigen gemeinsamen Stoff ~ ubergangskoeffizienten (lumped parameter) zusammenge-faBt werden. Bei detaillierter Betrachtung mussen die Transportvorgiinge in der Stromungsgeenzschicht und im Porensystem der Sorbens-Partikel gesondert in Rechnung gestellt werden. Es wurde der letztgenannte Weg beschritten, der jedoch mit hohem Rechenaufwand verbunden ist. Besonderes Bemuhen galt daher der Verkurzung der Rechenzeit. Der gescliwindigkeitsbestilnmende Transportvorgang ist die Diffusion in dcr sorbierten Phase. Vereinfachend wird angenommen, daB dio Sorbens-Partikel Kugelgestalt haben. Die Differentialgleichung fiir die Kugel mu0 numerisch gelost werden. Die Kugel wird zu diesem Zweck in vier volumengleiche Schalen unterteilt. Mit Hilfe der Methode der expliziten finiten Differenzen liiBt sich bei gegebenen Anfangs-und Randbedingungen die Sorbat-Aufnahme der Partikel fur fortlaufende Zeitschritte berechnen. Die Sorbat-Konzentration im Triigergas ist mit der Konzentration im Partikel an dessen Oberfliiche uber die Gleichgewichtsbeziehung verknupft. Diese liiBt sich nach Messungen von Dengler [l] als Freundlich-Isotherme rnit temperaturebhiingigen Koeffizienten darstellen. Der Diffusionskoeffizient wurde als unabhiingig von der Temperatur und der Beladung, d. h. als konstant angenommen. Dagegen fuhrt die zunehmende Beladung zu einer Veriinderung der spezihchen Wiirme der Partikel, die ebenso wie die Beladungsabhiingigkeit der Adsorptionswarme bei der Berechnung berucksichtigt wurde. Die relativ gute Wiirmeleitung im Sorbens-Partikel (Biot-Zahl 2 1) erlaubt es, die Wiirmeabgabe desselben allein rnit dem Ubergangskoeffizienten u zu beschreiben. Wiirme-und Stoffbilanz sind in erster Linie uber die Gleichgewichtsbeziehung und uber die veriinderliche Adsorptionswiirme gekoppelt. Das System nichtlinearer partieller Differentialgleichungen zweiter Ordnung wurde entlang der Charakteristiken mit einer modifizierten Euler-Methode numerisch integriert. Die lineare Approximation der stark veriinderlichen Gaskonzentration und -temperatur im Interval1 A z (Ortsschrittweite) wird durch eine Exponentialfunktion ersetzt, die dem tatsachlichen Ausgleichsvorgang weit besser entspricht als der lineare Verlauf. Die dadurch mogliche groBe Rechenschrittweite erlaubt es, technische Adsorber zu berechnen, was bisher rnit vcrtretbarem Aufwand nicht moglich war.
