Bei der Reaktion des Triazolindions (I) mit den Diazoverbindungen (II) entstehen kurzlebige Dipole des Typs (III), welche mit Ethanol direkt unter Bildung der Urazole (IV) abgefangen werden.
Die Umsetzung von Tropyliumbromid (I) mit den Silber‐Verbindungen (II) ergibt die Diazomethan‐Derivate (III); bei der Reaktion mit den Quecksilber‐Verbindungen (IV) entstehen neben (V) ‐ verrnutlich über entsprechende Norcaradien‐Zwischenstufen ‐ die substituierten Styrole (VI) und (VII).
Die Reaktion zwischen den Diazoalkanen (I) und dem N‐Phenyl‐triazolindion (II) führt über ein Zwitterion (III) zu (IV), das mit Ethanol den Ether (V) ergibt.
Eine Reihe von arylsubstituierten Diazoverbindungen wie z.B. (I) reagieren mit dem Triazoldion (IIa) [und analog auch mit (IIb) bzw. (IIc)] zu den Titeldipolen (III).
