Монография охватывает широкий круг вопросов, связанных с гендерным неравенством в семейной и трудовой сферах, а также гендерную асимметрию в здоровье и демографическом поведении российского населения, гендерные аспекты использования россиянами современных информационно-коммуникационных технологий и др. Источником информации для междисциплинарного гендерного исследования, результаты которого вошли в монографию, стали данные отечественной и международной гендерной статистики, а также материалы из российских и международных документов по теме гендерного равенства и более широкого круга социально-экономических вопросов. Монография адресована исследователям, аналитикам, преподавателям, аспирантам, студентам, специализирующимся на изучении социально-демографических и гендерных процессов.
В сборнике материалов Международной научно-практической конференции V Римашевские чтения «Сбережение населения России: здоровье, занятость, уровень и качество жизни», состоявшейся 29 марта 2022 г. по инициативе Института социально-экономических проблем народонаселения им. Н. М. Римашевской ФНИСЦ РАН, представлены основные доклады и тезисы участников конференции. Авторы сборника – известные российские и зарубежные ученые, а также молодые исследователи, изучающие различные аспекты проблемы сбережения народа в целом и в условиях последствий пандемии COVID-19, в частности. Материалы сборника представляют интерес для научных работников, государственных органов власти, преподавателей высших учебных заведений, аспирантов и студентов, изучающих проблемы экономического поведения, уровня и качества жизни населения, влияния институциональных условий на функционирование экономической и социальной сфер общества.
